Vision The Foundation will be the area leader in funding healthcare by raising funds, increasing awareness and providing education. The Foundation shall develop a long lasting relationship with our donors, their families and our communities by providing opportunities to share their dream.

Values The West Holt Medical Services Foundation holds these values to be fundamental: Longevity: The Foundation will ensure services will be available for many years to come. Dear Donors, The West Holt Medical Services Foundation is pleased to present its annual report of the achievements of your gifts for the past fiscal year. Throughout our history, your gifts of generosity and your continuing support have been the essence of our success. The accomplishments of the most recent fiscal year continue that tradition and are shining examples of your good work. In the following pages, you will read about your gifts at work. We are proud to report the success of several special projects. Please join us in celebrating the completion of the renovated hospital and the addition of the state-of-the-art West Holt Therapy Services building. More than 300 donors contributed to the hospital renovations which were completed in January 2012 and the new West Holt Therapy Services’ building which will open in May 2012. Generous donations and commitments such as these help us reach our vision to be the area leader of funding healthcare provided by West Holt Medical Services. The work of your gifts, in partnership with the Foundation, has advanced and improved the quality of care throughout North Central Nebraska. As you read this report, I hope you will join us in being proud about the accomplishments of 2011. We have entered 2012 with much enthusiasm for the work we have yet to do with you, our donors. Foundation highlights in 2011….. Awarded West Holt Medical Services $198,832 March Comedy Dinner Theater—Lorraine Lieswald directed the play “See How They Run” with cast members Tana O’Neill, Jaci Harmon, Blair Kirkpatrick, Mikaela Abner, Dennis Ryan, Don Schmaderer, John Madsen, Wayne Owens and Doug Kubik. Over 350 people attended. Net income: $4,000 April Awarded five $200 scholarships to Bailey Judge, Emily Miksch, Taylor Kunz, Ryan Borg and Lauren Olberding. June 4th Annual Summer Social and Golf Tournament Net income: $8,169 October Monique Johnson joins the staff of the Foundation as Executive Director. November Foundation’s Pig Mascot is named Penny by contest winner Marnie Hoppe December 2nd Annual Lights of Love Tribute Program— When the holiday season approaches, West Holt Medical Services Foundation begins to strongly promote our Lights of Love Tribute Program. Special lights, called “Lights of Love” are Christmas lights and they are placed around the outside roof line of the clinic and hospital. The list of honorariums and memorials are posted in the glass walkway between the clinic and hospital. We were able to light 370 lights during the holiday season. Net income: $1,529 Awarded five $200 scholarships to Kylee Slaymaker, Amelia Shane, Ryan Borg, Gina Kramer and Lindsey Osborne.

West Holt Medical Services is a non-profit healthcare organization with a 17 bed hospital that offers 24-hour access to inpatient and emergency services with providers on staff 24-7. With approximately 90 employees, it provides comprehensive, community-based healthcare to residents in North Central Nebraska with a full-service hospital, two clinics and an on campus retail pharmacy. On-site comprehensive diagnostic services and outpatient care make it possible for patients to receive quality healthcare close to home. West Holt Medical Services is in the top 1% in emergency room and 5% in inpatient and outpatient customer satisfaction survey scores in the Nation.
