While Tidewater’s values have changed, our tolerant multi-ethnic region embodying hallmark American values of family, cooperation, and freedom have persisted. As the only pair of nations with a shared border, diminishing differences between the Midlands and the ‘new’ Tidewater offer a chance for unprecedented collaboration. Founded by English Quakers with the goal of creating an equitable society, Midlanders find happiness rooted outside societal expectations of money and power. Our content lives are not a curse, but a misunderstood blessing. Through our historically skilled artisan middle class, we want to plant roots with Tidewater by developing Mayo Island together.
