WE ARE PERSONAL AND PRACTICAL Plus, MCCC provides students with real opportunities for hands-on instruction and individual student mentorship. This is consistent across all areas of study. Classes and labs are taught by qualified, experienced faculty members, not graduate students. At MCCC, students receive hands-on mentorship from faculty who understand the subtleties of effective student learning – both in and out of the classroom. The focus is on instructional excellence and the cultivation of informed, participating citizens. Practical Experience Monroe County Community College is a learning institution where the focus is on providing the knowledge, information
and experiences that will help our students reach their career goals. We understand that landing a top job requires the proper knowledge and skills, plus the ability to learn new ones. That’s why we’ve designed our degree programs to incorporate hands-on instructional activities in a learning environment that encourages participation and personal growth. Additionally, MCCC has cultivated a network of business contacts that provide valuable input as we design and refine our programs. Whatever your interest, you’ll find that programs within our curriculum are designed to prepare you for a successful career path.
