“
My daughter really enjoyed the camp. This was our first experience with the Y camp, and I was a bit nervous as my daughter did not know any other kids attending the camp going in. She made friends and really liked all the activities. As a parent, I have been pleased with the feedback I have heard from her.
“

Positive counselors, timing, affordability, and happy kid that spent the day outside and swimming are all great things.
I always get a little nervous leaving my young son with teenage kids every year we do camp, and every time I am quickly proven wrong by the mature, responsible, kind, and amazing young adults that help make this camp happen for these kids and for our family. My son loves coming to camp, his counselors, and making new friends! I ask him, “Do you ever get bored?” and he says, “No way, Mom!”

YMCA Summer Camp at a Glimpse
u
Camp focuses on the four core values that influence everything we do: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Our summer program is based on educating our campers about these values in all environments. We will also help campers build self-confidence and independence while challenging them physically, mentally, and emotionally. We emphasize the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, which is taught through fun activities to help your child incorporate this concept into their daily lives.
A Typical Day at Camp
Camp provides campers ages 4-14 with supervised activities that teach core values, conflict resolution, and leadership skills. Every day, campers will participate in a variety of activities, such as group games, crafts, camp songs, and physical activity, that encourage new friendships, selfconfidence, teamwork, and growth in self-reliance.
