Please be aware that recreational access to some areas of the Flathead Indian Reservation requires a Tribal Conservation Permit, fishing and/or camping stamps for non-tribal members. Permits are available at the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Division of Fish, Wildlife, Recreation and Conservation (DFWRC) at 406 6th Ave. East in Polson (south of Linderman School). Permits are also available at Polson Walmart, Ronan Sports and Western, and Allard’s in St. Ignatius. For more information, call CSKT Natural Resources at (406) 883-2888.
