The BACKYARD @ Sole East

Tucked away behind the beautiful landmark American Tudor building on Sec‐ond House Rd., which houses some 60 uniquely renovated bungalow‐like rooms, is Montauk’s hidden gem…The Backyard Restaurant. Located behind the Tudor, it’s available for hotel guests and visitors.

From the side parking area, you step into a spacious lush yard complete with low hanging lights strung between the trees, hammocks, and wooden Adiron‐dack chairs, as well as an invit‐ing fire pit section. As you stroll around the yard, an immediate feeling of transformation to a re‐mote plush island resort over‐comes you. The feeling is reinforced while passing

through the baboo tunnel leading into the restau‐rant; there’s something mystical and peaceful about the property which sets the mood for an en‐joyable stay and/or dining experience.

Depending on your preference, four seating options are available; a side patio overlooking the yard, the airy main dining room with a costal charm, or at the adjacent bar with a view of the back pool‐ dotted with ad‐ditional tables and couch seating.

The weather was perfect so we chose to sit poolside, under a tree where the ambiance is enhanced with the low lighting, and view of a heated back‐yard pool and surrounding oversized St Tropez style beds.

Our lovely waitress Piatra, who we discovered is from Pittsburg and studying fashion design, took our drink orders. Each of the crafted cocktails, a crisp vodka martini, spicy ‘Hot Tauk’ Margarita, and a rum ‘Backyard’ Punch, were delicious and a refreshing way to relax before dinner.

This season, the Backyard has welcomed back Chef Eduardo, who in his absence from Montauk has been busy adding to his culinary resume. Our meals were won‐derful, reflecting his abilities and creativity with his craft.

To start, we had a few delicious appetizers. I choose not to have the Yellow Cab Gazpacho, which I usually do enjoy when dining here because it’s always so delicious. However, there were many other choices that were quite appealing, so I decided to skip it this time.

The Wild Tuna Tartare which consists of a trio tower of pickled ginger, refreshingly cool chopped Cu‐cumber, and tenderly seasoned diced tuna, served with crisp Taro Root Chips, has a wonderful blend of textures and flavors. I realize that I’ve mentioned many grilled oc‐topus’ dishes that are served around Montauk, and what I really appreciate is that each chef adds their own unique twist to this delicacy. The Backyard Grilled Portuguese Oc topus with oregano, Harrisa, caper belly, lemon, Gigante Beans and grilled lemon, is yet another tender and flavor‐ful variation of this popular dish.

Wanting to try one of the salads, we decided on

What we know about real estate is usually summed up in those three magical words: lo‐cation, location, location. We also know proximity to water is ingrained in our psyche, one of the most sought‐after as‐pects of a property. Montauk checks each box, surrounded by water at every turn, the crown jewel of the East End.

When a business can boast about where they are located, quality and the experience does not always measure up. We will trade mediocre food for the killer view or ease at which to stroll to an establishment. For over fifteen years the Gig Shack has been operating under the premise that regardless of where you are you must create a magnetic atmosphere and serve exceptional, se‐rious fare. Casually.

The Gig Shack happens to be located right in downtown Montauk, walking distance to every‐thing including the Atlantic Ocean. A spacious outdoor patio lends itself to sunny lunches, après beach meals and lively dinners, especially when there is outdoor live music which occurs nightly over the summer. Inside is a cozy bar and subtly chic décor that gets a quiet revamp each year. At‐

tention to detail in the banquets, lighting and music mirrors the meticulous cuisine and fresh ingredients in the kitchen.

Some say the charm of The Gig Shack is how it hides in plain sight; a designer outfit without the labels, the world‐renowned film maker that’s mistaken for a local trades‐man. The quality and integrity of the meal is five star and will arrive to your table in a mix of rustic dishware with var‐ied designs and shapes. There is no need for pretense as the food speaks for itself.

Creating a microcosm of Mon‐tauk is not an easy accomplishment, as the regular mix of characters at 668 range from locals to weekenders, musicians,

Surrounded by Nature

Nature is all around us and it is never as close as when you visit a beach or shore area. Walk along the beach and you will see signs of sea life and remnants washed ashore, each with a story to unfold. Learning about our beautiful world is ongoing and even adults can find something new they didn’t know about. Do you remember being a child and the excite‐ment of finding a perfectly formed seashell or the sun‐dried remains of a crab? I remember trying to find beach glass, daz‐zling bits of smooth, colored glass along the water’s edge. What is beach or sea glass as some call it? It is simply broken pieces of bottles that were tossed on shore or into the sea that became smooth because of currents and waves. It is nature’s rock tumbler that takes 10‐20 years to make these sea gems.

When visiting Montauk, be sure to see Long Island’s num‐ber one attraction, the Montauk Point Lighthouse. The Mon‐tauk Historical Society's Lighthouse Museum’s admission price includes touring the building’s insides and being able to walk the exterior grounds. We started our walk on the north side of the Lighthouse, down a well‐worn path to observe wildlife signs, plants and signs of beach creatures that inhabit this area. (Avoid walking into brush on any hikes to avoid con‐tact with ticks possibly infected with Lyme disease.) We learned from a guided nature walk years ago that the area around the Lighthouse and rural parts of the East End are pop‐ulated with a host of wildlife. Most are nocturnal and not often seen by beach goers during the day. However, these "beach creatures" leave their mark behind and knowing what their footprints look like can tell a sharp eyed naturalist what ani‐mals live in the area. There are deer, raccoon, fox, rabbit and non‐poisonous snakes. Sometimes a strong odor would have you believe there is a skunk in the area. Actually, it is a fox uri‐nating and "marking its territory". It's a male‐to‐male notice, "this is my girlfriend, stay away". Footprints or tracks for each animal differ. A fox walks in a straight line, one foot after the other. A dog's foot prints wander, one here and one there. Deer track are larger, with an adult about three inches and a fawn much smaller. If deer footprints are further apart, with wide gaps on a sandy trail, then the deer is running. A “nar‐row” gap would be signs a deer is walking. When observing signs of animal prints reminds me of television westerns

where a guide dismounts his horse for a closer look of a track, then signals his party in what direction to continue. From these trails near the Lighthouse, fishing boats can often be seen bobbing in the distance with gulls swooping and diving into the water feeding on tiny off shore fish that swim in shal‐low water. Coming off a small hill, walk until you round a small bend in the road that leads directly to "Money Pond". Legend has this name derived from the adventures of Captain Kidd. Back in 1699 he landed at Montauk and it's believed he buried his treasure in this area. Yet to be found, it makes fascinating trivia for history buffs and visitors to the Point. Money Pond is filled with tall reeds which are not native to this area. Prob‐ably from Africa or Eurasia, the reeds had taken over the pond and thrown off the balance of nature. The plants and animals that used to live in the pond were crowded out by the reed’s extensive overgrowth. Now no lily pods, fish or herons and egrets live here. With no fish to eat, the birds don't come to the pond. And this problem is one that arises from introduc‐ing plants to an area they don't naturally grow in.

On the sandy trail, we passed wild grapes, beach plum bushes, the fruit of which can be made into a jam. The tide was low so we walked closer to the shore line near seaweed cov‐ered rocks. Clams can be found in more sandy beaches, buried in the sand, while oysters like rocks, but not water that is too salty. They like "brackish water", which is a combination of fresh and salty water. Oyster Pond, further in island, is the perfect home for oysters because it is salt water, but fed by many fresh water streams. Blue mussels, for instance, attach to rocks and are easier to sight now that the tide was low. Mus‐sels are a popular food choice of raccoons that come down to the beach at night. Even the moon snail has a unique way of dining on a mussel. The snail gets on top of a mussel shell, then secretes an acid to soften the shell. Once softened, the snail "drills" a tiny hole in the mussel shell to extract its in‐sides. A starfish will wrap its five "legs" around the mussel, attaching to it with the tiny suction cups beneath its legs. With an open mouth, the starfish can send its stomach directly into the crevice of the mussel shell, thereby digesting it while it is still in its shell! The ways of nature are sometimes more bizarre and unbelievable than any science fiction story created by imaginative writers. The next time you are taking a stroll along the shoreline, enjoying the sunshine, fresh air and gentle sea breezes think of all the nature and creatures that share the environment with us.

YOUR MOVEMENT & POSTURE ...

Continued from Page 23

Boletti has been doing private healing sessions, depending on a client’s needs, at the Green Earth Natural Foods Market in Riverhead on week‐ends, for the past year. He has also taken his unique Postural Modeling Program to the Regan Movement studio at 115 West 25th Street in Man‐hattan, owned by Regan Rutledge. A former ballet dancer from the San Diego Ballet, and different dance companies, Rutledge started dancing at age three, and then discovered her passion for teaching at age four, by assisting her dance teacher.

I was always drawn to feeling and moving my body, and I loved to express myself,” she said. “I started Pilates and yoga in the fourth grade, and later did Gyrotonics. I started teaching all these classes in college, and I always thought I would open a dance studio.”

She opened Regan Movement in 2019, on the top two floors of a four‐story building. On the third floor she has Pilates and Gyrotonics equipment, and the fourth floor is a big open space with movement classes, Pilates, yoga, stretching classes, and Postural Modeling.

“Our classes are focused on alignment, to improve your mobility, flex‐ibility, strength, posture and breathing,” she said. “It’s about how you hold yourself and how you move through space. I want people to feel good in their bodies, so their bodies will serve them and not hold them back.”

Rutledge said she wants to try and help people get into their bodies and out of their heads. “By reconnecting and feeling their bodies, they’re able to build awareness, and from awareness there is change. Eventually, you come to crave exercise and movement,” she explained.

Regan Movement offers all levels of classes from someone who has‐n’t moved in 20 years to a professional athlete who wants to improve his or her quality of movement.

Of the new Postural Modeling classes, she said, “It’s rare to find a class that just focuses on posture, how you hold yourself. You can work out day and night, but if you don’t have good posture you can be working against yourself. Good posture and alignment affects how you feel phys‐ically and mentally. Bad posture affects your mood, how you present yourself to the world, and it accelerates aging.”

And for those who may not be able to get to her studio, she offers 300 movement classes for all levels at her virtual studio, from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, so you can work at your own pace. For $40 a month she offers unlimited classes and she continues to add new classes each month. Go to www.reganmovement.com

A SCHMEAR OF SUMMER...

each hand‐sewn and available filled or plain with a sewn selection of NY staples; choose from a poppyseed bagel with a schmear, a col‐orful rainbow salt‐beef bagel or the everything bagel filled with pastrami and pickles.

Lucy Sparrow took the art world by storm in 2014 with the opening of her fully stocked felt Corner Shop installation in London’s East End. With lines wrapped around the block and wall‐to‐wall media coverage, the exhibit was both a massive success. By 2022, she had created an additional ten fully conceptualized exhibits from New York to Los Angeles. Her work was unveiled in the windows of the Hermès flagship Store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and she was also commissioned by the late HM Queen to create The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Lunch, a six‐meter‐ art instal‐lation installed in Buckingham Palace’s Grand Entrance Portico.

Sparrow says, “My work is always focused on community experiences and the everyday products that bring us together. There really is no greater example of this than the bagel bak‐eries of New York that have been nourishing much more than the stomachs of the city’s res‐idents since the late 19th century. I’m really ex‐

cited to bring one of my installations to Mon‐tauk for summer 2023!”

Mike de Paola, who orchestrated putting this month‐long event together, is also the man behind TW Fine Art, with galleries in both Mon‐tauk and Palm Beach. His art galleries are com‐mitted to presenting thought‐ provoking projects, featuring emerging, mid‐career, and historically significant artists on a global scale. TW’s commitment to fostering artistic talent and creating meaningful connections between artists and art collectors is the driving force be‐hind their operations. By fostering a close re‐lationship with artists, the galleries strive to understand their creative vision and bring their works to life through engaging exhibitions and collaborations. In addition to their commitment to emerging artists, TW Fine Art is also proud to exhibit the works of renowned and estab‐lished artists who have made significant con‐tributions to the art world.

While the sun sets on summer, and Lucy takes her talents West to New York City for her next show this fall, Feltz Bagels certainly has left its mark on the Hamptons. So much so, that I may have overheard a conversation at the event, that there could be a new bagel & coffee power couple staking their flag out East next summer... Pop up Bagels & Beaches & Beans Cof fee Co., anyone? Cheers to a great fall, and hopes of a new coffee and schmear sheriff duo in town next season.

Insurance Advice for Montauk/Amagansett Co-op Owners

Should CO OP Owners Purchase Liabilit y Insurance?

Many co‐op owners have concerns regarding their personal exposure to liability lawsuits in the event that someone gets injured while renting their units. The exposure is real and lawsuits unfortunately can result in large financial losses. The property man‐ager and co‐op corporation do carry liability insurance for their protection however this may not be enough to protect the owner of the co‐op and so it is strongly recommended that the owner carry insurance to protect their personal exposure.

Most co‐op boards strongly recommend that all owners purchase personal liability insurance coverage for their co‐op exposure. If you already have good insurance in place, then there is no need to read further.

Years ago insurance companies would often offer liability insurance as an extension of the liability coverage provided under the owner’s homeowner’s policy that insured their primary residence. This type of coverage extension is fine for a seasonal/vacation home but was not intended for a co‐op that is rented out regularly on a short term basis. The truth is many co‐ops are really being operated as a hotel/motel business, and the insurance companies never intended to provide coverage for that exposure as an exten‐sion to a homeowner’s policy. The cost for that type of extension is usually under $50. Many insurance companies have been canceling those type of extensions, once they dis‐cover the nature of the rental operations. Now with google maps they can zoom in and see the operations more clearly, although they have no obligation to do so. Not that there is anything wrong with the way these co‐ops are run but it is certainly not a simple sec‐ond home. It is wiser for the co‐op owners to address this with their insurance carrier in advance rather than run the risk of coverage denial in the event that a serious claim should occur.

The best course of action is to be honest with your insurance carrier and make cer‐tain that they understand how the co‐op is operated.

There are two issues that make it difficult for co‐op owners to obtain insurance in the Montauk/Amagansett area. First the insurance companies are concerned about writ‐ing any property insurance in the coastal area. Secondly, they do not like the liability ex‐posure involved with short term rental occupancy.

The co‐op corporations usually insure the buildings so the primary concern of the co‐op owners from a property standpoint is the value of their contents. Insurance can be purchased on the contents however many owners do not have very high content

values and some decide to self‐insure their contents and only purchase liability insurance as that is an exposure that would be very dangerous to self‐insure.

An annual policy providing liability insurance for a typical co‐op rented regularly in season would cost about $500 annually for a $1,000,000 limit. Other options for higher or lower limits are available.

If contents coverage is desired, an HO‐6 Co‐op owners policy can be purchased. Contents insurance that excludes coverage for wind and hail is available at a cost of about $450 for a $25,000 limit on contents and improvements and betterments. Contents cov‐erage including windstorm and hail coverage may also be available depending on your location, however the cost will be higher and purchasing may not make sense from a fi‐nancial standpoint. An estimate for adding wind and hail coverage is about an additional $500 to $800, if it is obtainable. Flood insurance would not be provided for the contents as that would require a separate policy from the Federal Flood Insurance program. Below are some examples of situations that could result in a liability claim against you personally.

1) A rental guest slips in your bathtub or on the floor of your unit. They may bring a lawsuit against you, the co‐op corporation and the property manager

2) A guest falls from your deck or on one of the chairs that you bought for your deck.

3) A guest slips in the pool or somewhere else on the property. Obviously, this would not be the unit owner’s fault, but because they were staying in your unit they may follow their lawyer’s advice and sue everyone. Hopefully you would be successfully removed from the lawsuit, but without insurance it would be necessary and expensive for you to hire a lawyer.

4) A guest could get hurt by something you put in your unit, for example, a mirror, stove or couch. They may decide to only sue you as the owner. Without insurance this could become a serious problem.

the service and staff attending the full dining room that night. Our water glasses were always refilled, empty plates cleared away at the appropriate timing and inquires if we needed anything was frequent, as I also noticed it was for diners at other tables. Besides delicious food, I truly believe service and attentiveness go hand in hand for any dining out experiences.

Naturally when in Montauk visitors’ number one meal choice is usually from the sea. At Surfside Inn & Restaurant, all ingredients are locally sourced for ab‐solute freshness for their menu items including the produce and coastal cuisine. Devon returned to inform us of the specials that evening that we might like. The grilled cod nesting on a bed of sauteed spinach with a light curry sauce and sliced oranges caught my eye, while my husband picked the Savanna Style shrimp with Andouille sausage sauteed with red and green and onions over cheddar cheese grits. After Mary or‐dered the sesame pan seared Saku Block Ahi tuna served with field greens, drizzled with Balsamic glaze, seaweed salad and pickled ginger and wasabi, Devon said the Chef’s suggestion “for maximum enjoyment was to have the tuna rare or medium rare.” So medium rare it was. Now three orders were from the sea, Joel couldn’t resist the ribeye steak, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, knowing he would be sampling his wife’s ahi tuna, too. Honestly, finding which entrée to select was no easy task considering all the tempting menu items! Under “From the Farm” was an 8 oz Prime Filet Mignon, Barbecue glazed Pork Shank, Mango Chipotle BBQ baby back ribs, Chicken Paillard and roasted Long Island duck topped with orange Grand Marnier Sauce, wild rice and seasonal vege‐tables. Then there is Pasta, Pasta, Pasta a select menu of mouthwatering dishes Sous Chef Fernando Mireles has developed along with the appetizers that will tempt any palate. There is Lobster Ravioli, Sautéed Shrimp Capellini, Linguine with white or Red Clam Sauce or Homemade Beef Bolognese Sauce. Surfside has an array of menu selections to satisfy every guest in your party.

The timing was perfect and after the appetizers were thoroughly enjoyed and finished, out came the

the middle sister, loved singing, and used to play the guitar and sing at local venues, where she garnered attention. When her family moved across the country from Palo Alto to Boston, she started singing in Har‐vard Square, and then performed at the Newport Folk Festival in 1959. It was here, at age 18, that her beau‐tiful voice got discovered and she decided to pursue a singing career.

Along the way, in New York City in 1961, she met Bob Dylan, who was also her age and just starting out. She was already famous, they became fast friends and she invited him up on her stages to sing, thus helping to launch his career. The film touches on their love story, and how he left to pursue his own career, break‐ing her heart. The two shared an interest in poetry and social issues, as the theme in many of their songs. They continued to work together for a while, on and off. Baez wrote her famous song “Diamonds and Rust,” after their breakup, which she sings in this film.

“I am a Noise” follows Joan Baez’s quick rise to fame, touring the world throughout her 60‐year ca‐reer, but it also deals with her inner struggle from se‐crets in her past. Along with all the highs and lows, she has unexplained panic attacks and seeks therapy to try and uncover the reason. Throughout her life jour‐ney of many songs and relationships, she had diaries,

entrees. Without exaggeration, each of the four en‐trees were absolutely works of art and truly photo‐genic! The Ahi tuna slices encircled one full side of the large dinner plate, while the field greens were topped with circular red onion slices and a pair of chop sticks stood like two mini crossed swords marking a victory of perfectly seared fish. The ribeye presentation was equally attractive with the thick, juicy steak practically still sizzling, plump, grilled asparagus next to it, while the mashed potatoes were swirled into a decorative formation one would similarly see on a soft served cone. A small gravy server was on the plate, if extra steak sauce was preferred. When the cod entrée ar‐rived, the size of the portion, topped with field greens and light creamy curry sauce, with side slices of or‐anges all on the bed of spinach was almost too pictur‐esque to be disturbed. One bite of my light and flakey, delicate tasting cod told me I had surely made the right selection! When the Savanna Style shrimp dish was placed in front of my husband, I knew I had to take a taste and appropriate one of the shrimp and sausage piece from his dish. Both were tender and the shrimp succulent and combined with the cheese fla‐vored grits beneath made this a flavorful combination that was totally pleasing. Naturally it is typical that diners eye each other’s entrée to see if someone “out entreed them” as one talk show host said years ago that she does when she dines out with friends. I know perfectly well what she meant thinking the friend or‐dered something she wished she had picked instead of her choice. Dining at Surfside Inn & Restaurant each of us, while admiring a friend’s choice, was perfectly content with what we had chosen. Offering each other a sample and taking a small piece across the table con‐firmed that every entrée was a winner in taste, pres‐entation and the sides selected to go with the meal. Complements to Executive Chef Juan Brufau whose fif‐teen years there has proven his talents continue to im‐press and excite guests to revisit for changing daily specials as well as all time menu favorites guests can count on being there!

Never one to turn down a dessert, after finishing the meal, we felt satisfied and content to do without, until Devon came to the table describing some deca‐dent and mouthwatering offerings. We just had to try the house made Mudpie a delectable concoction of coffee ice cream, Oreo cookie crumbs and dark choc‐

letters, photos, audio recordings, and her own art‐work, which her family kept safely in storage boxes.

Throughout “I Am a Noise,” we see Joan Baez looking through these storage boxes, going over her life. It was from all this life‐long material that the movie’s directors, Karen O’Connor, Miri Navasky, and Maeve O’Boyle, were able to put this documentary to‐gether. It shows Baez walking out on stage at concerts to huge cheering crowds, protesting during the Civil Rights Movement and the Viet Nam War, and having different relationships including David Harris, who went to jail for being a draft dodger. From that rela‐tionship, she had a son, Gabriel, who eventually be‐came her drummer, but he also felt abandonment when his mother and father broke up and she was al‐ways on the road. In the movie, Baez grapples with this as well.

In much of the film, Baez is shown at the end of her 60 year career, at her home in California, swim‐ming in her pool and taking walks with her dog. She is looking back on her amazing life, with its highs and lows. And she has at last made a kind of peace about what she has come to know through years of therapy, as possible childhood abuse from her father. This film is about her road to recovery.

Following the documentary, Joan Baez sat before the audience with Laurie Anderson on one side, and Director Karen O’Connor on the other, to discuss the movie. Baez, now 83, said she gave her last concert when she was 79.

“You have to keep training your throat muscle,

olate fudge bits swirled inside and all topped with ar‐tistic swirls of whipped cream and strawberry slices on the side. Another favorite, the ever‐popular Key Lime pie was a light, airy and perfect ending to round out our meal. Both were excellent choices and con‐tinued the evening’s experience of exceptional taste, creativity and savory delights! A full list of specialty coffees can accompany any dessert ordered or stand alone as a delicious, end of meal option.

Oktoberfest is coming! Starting on September 7th, Surfside Inn & Restaurant will be offering traditional German cuisine such as sauerbraten with mashed po‐tatoes, red cabbage or bratwurst and weisswurst and sauerkraut, along with their regular outstanding menu. People often wonder why Oktoberfest is held mostly in September and only lasts a few days in the month of October. We have heard several reasons. One being back in the early 1800’s when Oktoberfest started, the celebrating began after the harvest season was over in Europe and ran into only the first week or so into October. Also, that the weather was warm in September for outdoor celebrating in the fields with food and of course, beer and wine to celebrate an abundant harvest. The most popular belief was it started back in 1810 when Bavaria’s Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese of Saxony. The wed‐ding lasted multiple days with feasting, drinking and horse racing and was so popular it became an annual celebration. It’s a wonderful tradition to lift a glass and say “Ein Prost!” (Rhymes with toast) and means to good health. Come celebrate Oktoberfest this Sep‐tember with friends at Surfside Inn & Restaurant!

Besides the restaurant, Surfside offers accommo‐dations for guests wishing to stay at the Inn. Each room “provides beautiful light & natural decorated rooms; all overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, where open windows lend you beautiful sounds of the ocean. Vis‐itors are steps away from path leading down to a ser‐ene beach where a short stroll along the shoreline or on a paved path leads to Montauk Village.” Advanced reservations are required as the popularity of Surfside Inn is well known and favored.

which I did, with my voice coaches, but I decided to stop in 2019 just before Covid,” she said.

Laurie Anderson asked how this documentary came to be made, to which Karen O’Connor said she had known Baez, and she wanted to do this film on her farewell tour.

“Joan was ready to take an unflinching look at her life, and she didn’t hold back. Her life was complicated and layered, and her fiercely creative journey was worth telling, as she comes to the end of her 60 year career and starts an exciting new chapter,” said O’Con‐nor.

O’Connor added that, when her crew discovered all the historic material in Baez’s storage container, “it was a landslide.” “It was really exciting—we even had her talks on the march on Washington, when she was 21,” she said.

Baez said that she gave her directors the keys to her storage container and “let them do what they wanted.” When Anderson asked how she liked the movie, Baez said, surprisingly, “My favorite part was when Bob Dylan and I were goofing around.”

Baez said she has done a book of her “upside down drawings,” and also a book of poetry, called, “I Am Pretty When I Fly.”

Someone in the audience asked where people could see this film, to which David Nugent, Artistic Di‐rector of HamptonsFilm, replied that it will premiere in Manhattan on October 6, followed by limited screenings around the city, for now.
