Your journey starts now! Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Montevallo. On behalf of the new student orientation team, we are excited to welcome you to the UM family. Transfer orientation is the beginning of a new chapter in your life. It is your opportunity to meet current UM students and connect with fellow transfer students. You will also have the opportunity to meet with an academic advisor and register for classes. We will have representatives from various departments including Student Financial Services, the Cashier’s Office, and Housing and Residence Life on hand to answer all of the questions that you and your family/guests may have. In addition, you will have time to mix and mingle with representatives from student organizations and university departments at our resource fair. We have two transfer orientation dates from which you can choose, scheduled throughout the summer. Please plan ahead and register online early at www.montevallo.edu/orientation. Once an orientation session is full, registration for that session will close. You may email questions to orientation@montevallo.edu.
