Volume 68 – No. 12 —PRESIDENT’S CHRISTMAS— MESSAGE Dear Members & Friends, The 2013 calendar year is winding down, the temperatures are getting colder, and the days are becoming shorter. Christmas is in the air. The Christmas season brings friends and families together. Being a member at the United German Hungarians allows one to meet new people and develop new relationships. Involvement in the dance group, a soccer team or various committees, affords us an opportunity to make new friends and develop working and social relationships. This special opportunity is often overlooked. Make some new friends in the coming year, step forward in 2014 and become more involved. I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Bill Galgon, President

Kathi Noel, member of our Entertainment Committee and who took the event’s reservations, welcomed all as they arrived. Approximately 200 guests attended and although many chose to sit at the hall’s tables a large majority enjoyed the friendly camaraderie in our trophy bar. The dinner buffet was announced by the Kitchen-Catering Chairman, Janet Malofiy and as their were two double sided buffet lines set up in our dining room, the dinner was served quickly.
