2009 Football Team Honored
On Friday, October 25th, we celebrated the ten-year anniversary of the 2009 Class 5A State Champion Montini Broncos Football Team. Members of this historic team were invited to the newly renovated Vince Gavin Stadium Club to reminisce and enjoy 'guests of honor' status at the Bronco's last home game of the regular season. "We faced adversity all year, rebounding from a 5-4 regular season record and winning four straight playoff games to make our second ever appearance in a state championship game (facing Joliet Catholic)," said Head Coach at the time, Chris Andriano who celebrated the win with his former team. "The Hilltoppers were heavily favored to win the game and add to their state title collection, but we had other ideas!" Read more about the 10 Year Anniversary and see who attended.

Bingo Night at Montini Student Government recently hosted a B-Dubs and Bingo event for students and faculty. Attendees were treated to a meal from Buffalo Wild Wings and several gripping rounds of bingo in the school's cafeteria - complete with prizes and nail-biting competition! "The kids had a great time," said Ms. Megan Steiner '10, Student Activities Director at Montini Catholic. Many alumni remember Bingo at Montini on Tuesday nights with Mr. Huntoon calling the numbers. No home games were scheduled on Tuesdays and practices always ended early. Many teams helped set up the "Bingo Tables" and chairs in anticipation of the Bingo Fans and their table decorations. At its peak, over 300 bingo lovers would come to Montini every Tuesday, rain, snow or sunny weather.
