BRONCOS IN COLOMBIA

“We were able to make many new friendships and experiences that will forever change our lives. By sharing and learning in our ways of faith and life, we can grow together with God. Overall this week is something we will never forget and I am forever thankful to have had this experience.” -

This spring break, 14 Broncos took advantage of a chance of a lifetime to travel abroad and visit our Lasallian brothers and sisters in Bucaramanga, Colombia. This week-long “cultural immersion” involved everything from spiritual awareness, to service, to exploration and fun! Broncos took part in many cultural activities and even taught their new Colombian friends how to play dodgeball! It was a unique week - our Broncos will never forget!

SPRING BREAK 2023

BRONCOS IN KENTUCKY

Five Broncos thew away dreams of Florida, Mexico and any other place warmer than Chicago in March and drove to Elizabethtown, Kentucky to provide service to families in need of affordable housing. The group, led by teachers Denis Block and Barry Briggs, teamed up with Habitat for Humanity -an effort Montini Broncos have been involved in for many years now. In their off time, the team enjoyed each other’s company as well as many rounds of Yhatzee. They also found the time to visit Abe Lincoln’s birthplace and take a tour of Mammoth Cave!

We are proud of these young adults for representing Montini Catholic and our Lasallian mission! We know it was a very memorable experience for them!

"God has chosen you to make him known to others."
