Montini Catholic Academic Scholarships are renewable for 4 years and are awarded to incoming freshmen who sit for the Saturday, December 5, 2020 placement exam at Montini Catholic. The amount awarded is based the student’s national percentile ranking (score) on the HSTP Placement Exam. Students may earn up to $10,000 toward their highschool tuition. Students must take the placement exam at Montini Catholic to be eligible for an academic scholarship. Scholarships are renewable for 4 years, if the student maintains a satisfactory GPA and is otherwise in good standing with Montini Catholic. Congratulations to our Class of 2024 recipients! (on left)

Financial Aid/Scholarship OPPORTUNITIES 2021-22 Financial Aid Grant. Montini Catholic is proud to offer need-based grants. Applications must be completed online through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment at: online.factsmgt.com.
S.P.A.C.E. Grants: (Schools Promoting & Assisting Catholic Educators Program) Montini Catholic offers a $1000 tuition credit for children of full-time faculty and staff members of schools and parishes in the Diocese of Joliet and the Archdiocese of Chicago. Legacy Scholarship. Montini Catholic offers a $1000 legacy scholarship to the son or daughter of an alum who enrolls at Montini Catholic as an incoming freshman. The Catholic Education Foundation (CEF).distributes hundreds of need-based scholarships and education program grants each year. This CEF grant is applicable to those families who intend to send their student to one of the Catholic High Schools in the Diocese of Joliet. Kazma Family Foundation Scholarship This scholarship is available for students in the Class of 2025. Students must have a strong academic grade school record and the family must demonstrate significant financial need and attend a Catholic parish. Bishop Blanchette Scholarship. The Council of Catholic Women (CCW) of the Diocese of Joliet annually offers a number of scholarships to students planning to or already enrolled in a Catholic high school in the diocese. Students in grades 8 - 11 who will be or are attending Montini Catholic are eligible to apply. Illinois Tax Credit Scholarship. Families who earn less than 300% of the federal poverty level are eligible to apply for this scholarship. commended scholars Montini Catholic Principal, Kevin Beirne, recently announced that seniors, Gabriel Abbas (St. Mary of Gostyn School), Jack Sebben (St. Mary of Gostyn School), Nora Sypkens (Hillside School), and Heather Sledzinski (Holy Trinity Catholic School) have been named as Commended Scholars in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program.
According to Kimberly Greiner, Executive Director of the Scholarship Administration, about 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized this year for their exceptional academic promise. Commended students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2021 competition by taking the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). "Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success," said Greiner. "We couldn't be more proud of Heather, Gabriel, Nora and Jack," said Principal Kevin Beirne. "Being recognized as a Commended Scholar is a huge accomplishment. Their hard work and discipline will take them far this year and I anticipate even more accolades before the year is over."
