Brandon Sakas Earns Valedictorian Honors Montini Catholic's faculty, students and families congratulated and honored Valedictorian Brandon Sakas, during the school's 48th Annual Graduation ceremony in May. A graduate of Westchester Middle School, Brandon ranked number one in his class. Brandon was also honored at Montini's Founder's Day ceremony for being an Academic All Star and a recipient of the President’s Award for Academic Excellence. He is also an Illinois State Scholar, and AP Scholar With Honors as well as a National Merit Finalist. Brandon is a member of Montini Catholic's National Honor Society, Brandon Sakas ‘17 French Honor Society and Mu Alpha eta (Math Honor Society). He is a member of the Math Team and played an integral role in its 9th place State finish in May. He is also the recipient of Montini Catholic's Gold Award for Excellence in both French and Mathematics, and its Silver Award for Excellence in Science.

Santay, who is a graduate of Our Lady of Peace in Darien, was selected to be a part of the FMES (Future Music Educators Seminar). is unique program is designed to provide information and inspiration to young people interested in pursuing a career as a professional music educator. Only a select number of students statewide are chosen to participate. Samantha is attending Loyola University where she will be majoring in musical theater.
