Our coaches look forward to conducting our athletic camps each summer, and offer a wide variety of fundamental camps for all ages, as well as specific camps in several sports. They are committed to working with you every day to hone and improve your knowledge and skills. We are always hearing from happy parents about how much their children are learning during our athletic camps. We are also proud to offer a variety of academic and fine arts camps to both boys and girls. Our teachers have created many interesting educational programs to expose you to learning that is both challenging and fun. Registration is going on now! Boys Grades 3-8 Coach Eric Scott

Montini’s Future Broncos Summer Baseball Camp will provide campers the opportunity to work with Head Varsity Coach Eric Scott and members of the Montini Catholic Broncos varsity team and staff on the Bronco’s newly turfed infield! Skills covered will include hitting, pitching, catching, defense, and base running in an instructional and fun-filled environment. Campers should bring water, bat, glove, molded plastic spikes (no metal spikes). Gym shoes in case of inclement weather.

Shooting & Ball Handling - This exciting camp will focus on the foundations of shooting, shooting off the catch and finishing at the rim. During the camp you’ll receive both instruction and training to develop exceptional ball handling skills and dribbling moves. Fundamentals - The fundamental camp will focus on the little things that will make you a better player. We will work on layups, shooting, passing, dribbling and ball handling, jump stops, triple threat, pivoting, jab steps, screening, defense, rebounding and moves to the basket. Learning and mastering these good habits and fundamentals will improve your game and confidence.

Boys Grades 4-8 Coach Adam DeMong

Bronco Basketball Camp - Do you want to get better? Join us this summer! Head Coach Adam DeMong will focus on the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, and much more. Campers will learn skills through drills, station work, game situations and game-play. Coach DeMong will help players sharpen their skills, establish strong fundamentals and learn the "intangibles" that all good players possess. Offensive Skills - Become a more dynamic player on offense at this camp which focuses exclusively on offense. No defense station! Players will work on complete dribbling, passing and shooting through drills, competitions and game scenarios each day to help improve and build confidence. Join us for our 21st annual Dance Upon a Star Summer Camp. Each camper will receive their own set of poms, a camp t-shirt and complete a craft spirit project. On the final night of camp we will host a pasta dinner and campers will showcase their two routines at a pep rally for family and friends! Each camper is invited back in the fall, at no extra cost, to perform with the Broncettes under the lights at a home varsity football game. The camp is hosted by Head Coach Eugenia Scavone, Assistant Coach Carrie Pionke, Taylor Scavone and the Montini Broncettes.

Come join Montini Catholic’s 6x IHSA State finalists Cheerleading Team for an awesome three day skills camp this summer. Girls Grades 5-8 Coach Alex Zasso

Please join Head Coach Alex Zasso and our Bronco Girls' Cross Country Team for summer distance running this July. We will meet on the Illinois Prairie Path in Villa Park (Gazebo at Ardmore Avenue and Park Blvd). This supervised camp will give young athletes a range in training from workouts, hills, and long runs on the trails of the prairie path and at the park. We welcome all grade school girls as well as junior high students as we train at all ability levels. Please wear proper shoes and workout clothes and bring a water bottle.

Boys Grades 5-8 Coach Mike Bukovskyf

Come join Head Coach Mike Bukovsky's youth skills football camp. The Broncos have won 6 IHSA State Championships! This non-contact camp will focus on the basic fundamentals with a strong emphasis on movement skills. All campers will receive a Bronco Football t-shirt. Big Man Camp is a one day specialty camp for offensive and defensive linemen. The Bronco coaching staff has produced over two dozen Division I linemen earning scholarships to some of the top schools in the country. This intensive non-contact camp will focus on the basic skills needed to play on the offensive and defensive lines, including stance, movement, hand fighting pad level, and strikes. All campers will receive a special Bronco ‘Big Man’ t-shirt. Campers should bring cleats, athletic apparel and water.

All youth golf enthusiasts are invited to join Head Coach Ben Michelon for this exclusive camp. Golfers will spend three days on the range, at the putting, green and on the golf course. Coaches will cover proper golf etiquette, course management, ball striking swing mechanics, chipping/approach, and putting. Campers should bring their own golf clubs, golf shoes, dress in golf attire, and bring water.

Not only will we focus on straight ahead speed, but also proper multi-direction agility techniques will be taught and drilled. Beginning Painting - This camp is for exploring painting techniques and skill building for young artists from 5th to 8th grades! Campers will explore the differences between watercolor, tempera, and acrylic paint. They will have the option to choose the content of their paintings but they will be provided with multiple examples to spark their imaginations. We will supply the canvas, paint, and paint brushes for all the various paint types. We also have some cloth smocks that the students can use to protect their clothes. Campers may bring snacks if they would like to take a break during the lesson. This will be a fun way to learn the difference between paint textures and learn the different techniques for each paint type. Maximum enrollment is 12 campers.

We Learn. We Build. We Play at Bricks 4 Kidz. Bricks 4 Kidz workshops provide an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where we learn, we build, we play... with LEGO® bricks. Programs are built around our proprietary model plans, designed by engineers and architects, with exciting themes such as space, construction, and amusement parks. LEGO® Minecraft® Adventures Summer Camp Experience the exciting world of Minecraft® using LEGO® bricks this summer! This fun & exciting camp takes a whole lot of LEGO® Bricks, a background in STEM, children’s natural creativity, and inspiration from the popular game to build on a week of learning fun — the Bricks 4 Kidz way! From Pigs, Mooshrooms and Chickens to Mine Carts, Zombies and Skeletons, Spiders and Dragons, we’ll explore and build different stories each day in our LEGO® Mining and Crafting world! Kids will be crafting their shelters, mob characters, critters and tools using LEGO® bricks. Game On! Master Builders Engineering Camp For kids today, it’s all about the world of online video games and apps! In this interactive summer camp, campers will use LEGO® Bricks to create and build different characters from their favorite video games. Themes such as Super Mario Bros, Roblox, Beyblades, Fortnite, Pokémon, and Among Us come to life through the use of our robots, mosaics, and 3D art, all made out of LEGO® Bricks. Looking for a fun and educational summer camp for your young scientist? Check out Montini’s X-treme Science Summer Camp, where young scientists will enjoy a week of scientific exploration, cool experiments, new friendships and lots of FUN! Campers will participate in a wide range of engaging activities from across the sciences, both in the science lab and outdoors. Chinese Language and Culture: This program is designed for students in grade 7-8 who are interested in learning Chinese, experiencing Chinese culture and traditions, and making friends. The camp focuses on building the students’ Chinese language skills and their interest and curiosity in understanding Chinese culture. Throughout the one-week program, students will learn basic greetings and engage in a variety of activities such as singing songs, nursery rhymes, making paper cutting, playing ping pong balls, calligraphy, and more fun educational games to enhance their learning. Maximum enrollment is 20 campers.

Coed Grades 5-8 Technology Director, Pete Farina

A fun STEM-based camp for students entering grades 5-8. In four sessions, campers will code their own unique Artificial Intelligence applications. They will write code that will use AI to learn how to complete complex tasks that are useful and fun. Campers will learn the basics of coding Machine Learning in AI using the Scratch system. Scratch is a visual programming language developed by researchers at M.I.T.’s Media Lab as an engaging way to teach coding skills to students of all ages. Students need no prior programming experience to succeed and have fun coding with AI in this camp. Maximum enrollment is 20 campers.

Coed Grades 5-8 Technology Director, Pete Farina

A hands-on STEM-based camp for students entering grades 5-8. Have you ever wanted to create a robot and code it to carry out useful tasks? Would you like to have your robot compete against other robots? If your answer is, “Yes!”, then this camp is for YOU! In four sessions campers will create several different robots and program them to complete various useful tasks. We will build and code using LEGO’s EV3 robotics kits. Previous Scratch or LEGO EV3 experience is recommended but not required. Maximum enrollment is 20 campers.
