As the weather warms up and we look forward to summer, it’s time to schedule in some family fun – and there’s no place better place to do this than at Liverpool ONE. With the higher temperatures approaching, we’re ready for some fun in the sun as we transition from spring to summer. From outdoor activities to al-fresco dining, we’ve got all your retail, dining and entertainment needs covered!

Liverpool ONE is in bloom, providing some of the most Instagrammable spots in the city. The estate is currently adorned with floral installations fit to brighten everyone’s day and provide the perfect picture opportunity. The installations, including a bright and beautiful flower bench, a floral arch and a larger-than-life, overflowing shopping bag, are spread out across Liverpool ONE. The event will run until Sunday 5 June, so don’t miss your chance to grab that all-important selfie!

Looking forward to the most regal of celebrations, the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will be celebrated with a national bank holiday weekend – Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June – and we can’t wait to mark the milestone with you in style! We have a packed schedule of live entertainment lined up for the long weekend – with music, bands, entertainment and family activities.

The Heritage Trail invites visitors on a journey to explore more than 300 years of Liverpool’s history. The self-guided audio tour takes visitors on a trip exploring events, places and people who played a vital role in the fascinating tale of Liverpool’s history. To follow The Heritage Trail, download the Liverpool ONE MyONE app, available on both the App Store and Play store. Or alternatively, collect the printed map from the Information Centre on Wall Street. For an even more immersive experience book The Old Dock Tour and discover the origin of Liverpool’s fortune buried underneath Liverpool ONE.

As we count down to summer, we have plenty of activities for kids to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. From our free to play PING! Tennis tables across the estate to our free Nature Trail, where kids will discover wildlife and plants across Chavasse Park. Both activities are free and require no booking, so mosey on down and get stuck in! For those trying to escape the heat, we have a variety of indoor family activities, such as Escape Live on College Lane, which is home to the UK’s only Horrible Histories themed room. Visit On The Green on The Terrace and challenge the kids to one of their many family friendly virtual reality games, including Magic Pond, Bullseye, Hit It! and Capture the Flag. Don’t forget to check out ODEON’s offering as parents go for the same price as kids during school holiday dates!

When it comes to dining at Liverpool ONE, the options really are endless, and that extends to al-fresco dining during the summer months. We know just how precious the sunny spells are so we’re here to help you make the most of them! Overlook the bustling Chavasse Park while you tuck in at The Club House, or at the many restaurants on the Terrace like Las Iguanas or Wagamama. Don’t forget to recharge with a coffee at Bean on Manesty’s Lane, and watch the world move around you at Liverpool ONE.

Parents need treats, too! For those looking to wind down and enjoy some well-deserved ‘me time’, or simply indulge in some retail therapy, we’ve got you from high-street to high-end. With the some of the region’s best shops located in and around South John Street, John Lewis & Partners has something for everyone, and is coincidentally right next to our free to use PING! Tennis tables, for those with teenagers in tow! We also know how important it is to take care of our skin as summer approaches, so top up on summer skin essentials from UK’s only Beauty Bazaar, Harvey Nichols or enjoy their Spa and glamorous Champagne Wow Bar. Don’t forget to download the Liverpool ONE MyONE app and gain access to some of the biggest deals exclusively for members. Notices and News updates for parents and teachers

Does your child need help with their emotions? When you think your child is angry or anxious, are you sure that is what they are really feeling? Children experience complex emotions like adults but often don’t have the words to understand or express what they are feeling. Often these strong emotions emerge as challenging behaviour. Ollie Coaching, an award-winning approach for schools, parents and teachers, can help give your children the tools to help them cope, develop resilience and change unhelpful behaviour with one to one coaching or dedicated school programmes. St David’s College is a mainstream co-educational independent school for children aged 9 to 19 years old. Their award-winning school is set in a 30-acre Tudor Estate, nestled between Snowdonia National Park and the North Wales coastline.
