Looking forward to the most regal of celebrations, the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will be celebrated with a national bank holiday weekend – Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June – and we can’t wait to mark the milestone with you in style! The Heritage Trail invites visitors on a journey to explore more than 300 years of Liverpool’s history. The self-guided audio tour takes visitors on a trip exploring events, places and people who played a vital role in the fascinating tale of Liverpool’s history. As we count down to summer, we have plenty of activities for kids to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. From our free to play PING! Tennis tables across the estate to our free Nature Trail, where kids will discover wildlife and plants across Chavasse Park. Both activities are free and require no booking, so mosey on down and get stuck in! For those trying to escape the heat, we have a variety of indoor family activities, such as Escape Live on College Lane, which is home to the UK’s only Horrible Histories themed room. Visit On The Green on The Terrace and challenge the kids to one of their many family friendly virtual reality games, including Magic Pond, Bullseye, Hit It! and Capture the Flag.
