He LL o readers!
Hello and a warm welcome to our first edition for 2023 – we hope it’s been a happy new year for you all so far. And, just as you’re settling back into the post-Christmas routine, half term is nearly upon us!
Having a good mix of relaxing time at home, plus a few ‘adventure’ days out is often the key to re-charging everyone’s batteries over the holidays. We’ve handpicked a great selection of fun places to visit across Northamptonshire to help keep boredom and screens at bay! Older children will love a thrilling day out at a theme park, whilst younger family members can get hands-on with new baby lambs or forest trails, all taking place throughout the school break. Many are free or minimum cost and even better, they’re under cover!
As ever, you’ll find local news and school updates, and fabulous ideas in our What’s on When pages to plan in winter activities to help brighten up the week. And what about planning this year’s birthday party? Don’t fancy the mess at home? Then turn to the Party Ideas section, highlighting brilliant entertainment and venues for kids, so you can plan a stress-free celebration that you can enjoy too!
We’ll be back again in March, anticipating the warmer, longer Spring days and featuring lots of exciting Easter news and events. In the meantime, we wish you a happy and relaxing half term break.
