1. Market Sizing and Forecast: For Syndicated reports: The sizing and forecast is done on an annual basis for the market that is being catered to in the report. The report will consist of historical trends for a preset number of years and the forecasting will also be for a pre defined period of time. The market sizing would be done based on the global estimate of sales of the device collected from various primary and secondary sources and from various stakeholders in the value chain for the device market. Customization of these reports is limited to 1 segment of the actual report and all client based specific requirements cannot be addressed in depth for all segments. The syndicated reports are updated for sizing and forecasting once every year and will include the cumulative effect of all market related and non market related changes from the time of publishing to the time of updating. These reports can be global/ regional or segment based, but a comparative study of the segments is not possible for these reports.

For Subscription reports: The sizing and forecast in this case can be done for the market as a whole or covering certain specific segments as per the client’s requirements. The calculation is done on the same basis for both syndicated and subscribed reports, in the syndicated report it is updated upon the set intervals for report updating where as in a subscribed report the data on market shares and positioning can be updated as per the agreed time frame with the client.

3. Qualitative and Regulatory aspects ( Global and regional ) For Syndicated reports: The syndicated reports will encompass the developments both regulatory and business based in a compiled format over the entire cycle of report updating.

E g: if the report is updated on 12/03/2013,

during the period. This will change the market estimation from cycle to cycle based upon these development and the updated report will have market estimation altered based on these developments. This format captures the market developments in an accumulated basis and not in a real time basis. We also have associations with SME’s in various sectors that we cater to, who act as advisors and assist us in the data interpretation and in drawing the appropriate conclusions for our studies. Our secondary sources of information are basically government sponsored statistical studies and published articles by authors that are available for online subscription and free usage. Some of the portals we follow for statistical data are FAO statistics, CDC. Data Statistics, WHO, NCBI etc.
