STUDENT PROFILES Monique Ndagah was born and raised in Washington D.C, studied at School Without Walls SHS and is a first generation Cameroonian American. She holds an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Montgomery College and is currently studying Services and Supply Chain Management at Morgan State University. She is currently in the Earl Graves Honors Business Program and recently became a University Innovation Fellow. She is a part of the International Student Association and American Marketing Association on campus. She has tremendous interest in the Manufacturing and International Trade Sector and hopes to make a significant impact in those fields.

Born in Prince George’s county, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (Queen Anne's County) Charity Shackleford attended Kent Island High School and is a Junior at Morgan State University. She is majoring in Service Supply Chain and Management. She is also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and is also a peer educator with the School of Public Health. She works as an office assistant at the Human resources department at Morgan State. Upon graduating, Charity hopes to gain experience through an internship that will open her mind to the different types of career paths within her major. She enjoys cooking, helping people, spending time with family, reading, volunteering, computers, and going on road trips.

Amavi Goli is a transfer student at Morgan State University with an Associate degree in Business Administration from Monroe Community College. Born and raised in Togo, she relocated to the United States in May 2000. Amavi has worked in the manufacturing sector as a Quality Auditor for over eight years. She recently returned to school as a Full Time student to pursue a degree in Services and Supply Chain Management. Amavi is expecting to graduate in fall 2017. She is passionate about living a healthy life style and encourages friends and families to do the same. Some of her habits include running, teaching, indoor cycling and volunteering in her community. Her future goal is obtain her MBA and start an import and export business within the US and Africa.

1st Place Boeing Case Competition

FIELD TRIPS Supply chain management students toured the Baltimore division of Green Bay Packaging (GBP) on October 20, 2015 arranged by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). The tour started with a brief presentation from the General Manager of GBP to explain the history of GBP, the company's culture of innovation, and its specialty in custom corrugated packaging. Students were then guided to visit the company's onsite facility. They were given a demonstration of how different packaging materials were manufactured by numerous machines. Student were also showed the custom packaged boxes of several customers such as McCormick and Sensible Portions.

The field trip to the Domino Sugar refinery in downtown Baltimore took place on October 21, 2015. Four supply chain management students and two faculty member together with a team from Towson University participated in this trip. Students and faculty were provided with an overview of the sugar production process by an onsite presenter, and then had an interesting tour of the factory to see the operation from raw sugar cane ship unloading to finished granulated sugar packaging ready for the customer.

Morgan students and other competitors for the 2nd Weinman Cup Case Competition took a bus tour to the Seagirt and Dundalk Marine Terminals at the Port of Baltimore on Feb 19, 2016. This tour included a presentation on the public-private partnership between Ports America Group and Maryland Port Administration. Visitors enjoyed a bus tour to see cargo movement, port infrastructure and the port environment.
