Caring Community SPREADING HOPE For several years, Mosaic in Omaha has enjoyed a partnership with Syngenta and their employees. Weekly they enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation with a group of people served by
“Syngenta employees make each and every one who attends feel special and loved.” Mosaic, who don’t miss a Wednesday to go visit! They have helped create a meaningful day for those in service by
assisting an individual with his art skills, providing rides on combines and in semis, and most importantly hosting Christmas, Easter, and Halloween parties. Those in service love the parties and Syngenta is more than generous with gifts for each of them attending. Syngenta employees make each and every one who attends feel special and loved. This Easter was no exception as they once again hosted a wonderful party for those in service. We appreciate Syngenta and all they do for Mosaic in Omaha!
The Easter Bunny brings smiles.
Syngena employees make the extra effort with the people we serve.

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month We are blessed to have wonderful volunteers who either assist on a regular or one time basis.
The Discover the Possibilities volunteers took a road trip to Axtell, Nebraska in April to see where it all began. We enjoyed a day of fellowship, a tour of the Axtell campus, a walk through the museum, and a wonderful church service called a “Kingdom Party.” If you are ever near Axtell, you should check it out!
Our regular Discover the Possibilities volunteers have given their time for many years. They are faithful volunteers who assist with the set up and administration of our Discover the Possibilities tours. In addition, several also assist with our New Hire Orientation and help spread the word about Mosaic in the community. We are grateful for each and every one of you!
Thank you Reverend Dahl for acting on your calling and building a mission to serve those with intellectual and physical disabilities.

On March 18, we partnered with the National Supports Office to host a Forward in Faith Luncheon. Attendees enjoyed a nice lunch and listened to a testimonial from our Executive Director, Jan Blosser. They were also treated to a special message delivered by our President and CEO, Linda Timmons. What a wonderful time together to celebrate very special friends and partners to Mosaic!

A life of possibilities for people with intellectual disabilities.
Meaningful Life A few months ago, Phyllis came to one of our Discover the Possibilities tours to hear more about Mosaic and our mission. She had previous experience working with people with intellectual disabilities in another city, is now working at Whole Foods, and missed the connection with those in service. Phyllis wanted to volunteer and suggested teaching cooking and healthy food sessions. The first session was making individual pizzas with “lots of vegetables! The session was so popular we had to schedule another. We are looking forward to a continued partnership with Phyllis and her creative cooking ideas! Thank you!
The pizza was a great hit and gave the people we serve a great learning opportunity.
