Consultation
Council has an online community consultation hub - yourvoicemosman. com.au - to enable residents to easily provide feedback and ideas on a range of issues and projects that affect the community. The site lists all community consultations open for comment, and residents are strongly encouraged to get involved and have their say. Council also conducts regular consultations via public meetings, focus groups, surveys, written submissions, workshops, roundtables and community committees.

Council Committees
Council’s community consultative committees provide opportunities for community members to actively contribute to conversations about local issues and services. These committees bring stakeholders together to work through issues in a consultative manner on matters such as active transport, climate action, visual amenity, arts and culture, and access and mobility. Each committee has a charter, including its terms of reference, composition, membership criteria and general operating guidelines. Members of the community are able to participate in one community consultative committee at a time, with membership generally being advertised following each Council election.
