WHAT A BLESSING!
BY DR. ANNE WADE I am married to a nurse. He is a travel nurse who accepts different assignments. In February, they assigned him to an Emergency Room and shortly afterward; we became ill. He and I did not know then we had COVID-19. We thought we had the flu, and it was not until March we found out differently. Immediately my college asked me to work from home. I was weak, had trouble breathing, and felt as if I had run a marathon each day. I could hardly walk. A journey from one end of the house to the other meant I had to sit and rest. I had no sense of taste or smell. By July, I had some energy. I could swim some, but still had to rest more than usual. I felt blessed to have survived when others in my area did not.
