Poolside projections With Expo 2020 Dubai now open, so too is the event’s only on-site hotel, Rove Expo 2020. Located at the heart of the action, next to Expo’s Al Wasl Plaza, hotel highlights include a rooftop saltwater swimming pool and a sundeck overlooking the plaza and its magnificent, trellised dome (pictured), which is a sunshield by day (it’s up to 10 degrees centigrade cooler underneath) and one of the world’s largest 360-degree projection screens by night.
