Qatar Football Association E learning program 2012-2013 Technical Committee Development Committee Coaching Soccer Problems The role of the youth soccer coach is to make players better. In order to maximize player development, good training sessions should consist of activities that relate to break downs in skill or understanding observed from live games. These breakdowns (learning deficiencies) are known as “Soccer Problems” and they always include the related technical and tactical (application)elements. Experienced coaches have developed their own vision for the way they want the game to be played and also the methods they will use in training to help their players improve. These coaches have also developed the ability to analyze live games and select the most important soccer problems to address in training. This E learning project will challenged coaches to purposefully plan training sessions around soccer problems to ensure the circulation of soccer knowledge in Qatar soccer community. The following information is intended to help the E learning staff coaches understand the context and potential application of their assigned training topics. For each general training topic (Headline) there is a specific soccer problem that relates to a breakdown from live play. Within each soccer problem, there are possible technical and tactical elements that the coach must define as part of the planning process. By clearly defining the context and the specific technical and tactical elements of the problem, the coaching can become more focused and the training activities more effective. Each coach divides the address of the training topics for only two hours , the first hour of the theoretical side, which means they use it to clarify the topics by using a modern technology and the second time for the practical application on the coach club team. Every coach prepares his topic of training in a special file and distributed to all of the Development Committee and all the

coaches who attend the lecture, theory and practice and be printed and organized in a professional way and modern manner. Evaluating the standard of the theoretical and practical of the topics will follow the component of the check list which attached to this article. These addresses training will be part of the work of trained workers in the Qatari clubs, which will be taken into account when assessing the coach by the Development Committee which was entrusted with the task of monitoring and evaluation.
