Predictive Analysis
A Critical Feature of SAP Business By Design (BYD), Identity Access Management manages Access Rights in an Enterprise Application.
A Product from SAP Business Objects, catering to business intelligence needs, enables a business analyst to fore-cast his business needs based upon his current set of statistics.
Role: To improve the experience of the entire process of Identity and Access Management, which breaks the paradigm of tables and makes the entire process easier to understand and simplified, yet retaining the flexibility to provide access Rights at all levels of granularity, And later made the High fidelity prototypes and validated the concepts.
Role: Conceptualized based upon an exhaustive competitive analysis. Called out complexities and figured out the best way to analyze this data type. Formulated a vision statement for the product, followed by an iterative approach leading to a low fidelity prototype.
Analytical Explorer (Flexible Analysis & Exploration) A Plugin for MS Excel from SAP that enables the business user to explore and create queries and view the corresponding reports. Role: Part of a team, making the product more intuitive and enhancing the user experience, Observing the usage business users behaviors, mostly the excel users and Incorporating a sufficient search engine, Converting ideas into design concepts, and validated the concepts through prototyping.
Academic Projects at the National Institute of Design Dams of India and their Impact An interactive print info-graphic visualization which brings to life the statistical data about dams and rivers of India. This new readable, compressive representation, aided the viewer to understand the far-fetched implications of major dams in India. The entire visualization was developed in 10 weeks using interactive print media, where user is given the freedom of exploring the dams or river with the help of concertina folds.
Media Hub for middle class families of tier 2/tier 3 cities (Hp labs) A Research based project, focusing on emerging markets. Studying and understanding media consumption trends in an average middle class family of tier 2 cities, their interactions with gadgets and perceptions about technology with respect to cultural influences was at the core. Final deliverable was a concept in which I suggested a Community Radio to leverage social and communication needs of a community.
Expanding Social Gaming through Multi modal Interaction (Vodafone). Project involved public spaces for social gaming and multi modal interactions . This project allowed me to explore the field of interactions in a public space through a mobile device, brainstorming on an extensive set of interactions allowed us to come up with many interactive concepts.
