Meals On Wheels
Meals on Wheels has been an integral part of Mounds View Public Schools’ mission and commitment to serving adults in our community for nearly 50 years. It is more than just a meal; Meals on Wheels is a critical wellness visit by volunteers, a nutritious hot or frozen meal for homebound older and disabled adults and a means of connecting older adults to other community services. Meals on Wheels is for older adults or certified disabled adults in need of help with meals and is an ideal service to assist caregivers who may be hard-pressed finding time for meal preparation along with all their other responsibilities. Meals are affordably priced and a sliding fee scale is available for those who qualify. You can also pay for Meals on Wheels with a credit or debit card or with your SNAP benefits. Seniors (60+) may also qualify for meals at low or no cost with Title III funds provided by the Older Americans Act. Contact us to learn more!
