Students who live within the Bel Air, Pinewood, Sunnyside or Valentine Hills attendance areas attend kindergarten at Pike Lake Education Center. School Hours Bel Air: 8:20 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sunnyside: 8:20 a.m. - 3 p.m. Pinewood: 9:05 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Valentine Hills: 9:05 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
BOARD-APPROVED CLASS SIZE RANGES:
We are passionate about providing a solid foundation for each of our students as they embark on their educational journey. We provide an all-day kindergarten experience which is both challenging and nurturing. Balanced math and balanced literacy instruction are based on state and national standards, tailored to the individual and developmental needs of our students. Social-emotional learning is embedded into the kindergarten experience with a common school-wide focus. All kindergarten students are provided free busing and free breakfast.
