Know Your Powers At Quarq, our mission is to create kick-ass bicycle data systems. It’s that simple. The more you know, the better you become. Can you teach your body? Can your body teach you? Can you go farther or faster? Yes, yes and yes. What you can measure, you can improve. Quarq’s patented direct-force technology precisely measures the effort of both legs while riding. You know when to conserve. You know when to push — and how hard. Our goal is to make a product that is simple, robust, intuitive — and invisible. All the clever technology is tucked deep inside.

VERIFY YOU ARE GETTING BETTER IRRESPECTIVE OF THE CONDITIONS.

QUARQ | POWER METERS FEATURES & BENEFITS

Built for speed. Easy to use. Designed to Make You Faster Cyclists and triathletes worldwide orchestrate race-winning performances with one dimension: Power Output. Quarq’s direct force power meters measure total power output from both legs with +/-1.5% accuracy. They hone your training and control and measure your racing. Put simply, they make you faster. In 2014, Quarq delivered four world championships in cyclo-cross, road racing and IRONMAN® triathlon.

The Heart of Your Bicycle The crankset is the heart of your bicycle and where you’ll find the Quarq power meter. The sole job of the crankset is to convert the effort from both legs to forward motion. It is the perfect place to measure power.

Built to Last Quarq power meters have an IPX7 waterproof rating. They feature a 2-year warranty, free firmware updates and acclaimed worldwide support. They move with you from bike to bike.

For Bikes Past, Present and Future Quarq’s road power meters work for every discipline: Road, triathlon, time trial and cyclo-cross. The chainrings are replaceable should your bike, discipline or ability change.

Breakthrough Materials Exogram™ hollow carbon fiber crank arms - the lightest, strongest crank arms we make - minimize weight and maximize speed.

13

10K™ Temperature Compensation Each power meter is programmed with over 10,000 data points to eliminate temperature effects on power measurement. That means every pedal press is transformed into an unwavering record of your performance, no matter what the conditions.

AxCad™ Accelerometer Cadence A multi-axis accelerometer switches the power meter on and measures cadence, simplifying installation and operation.

A Companion Digital Wrench With Quarq’s free Qalvin app - available for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android - you can set the zero offset, check battery voltage, run diagnostics and perform firmware updates.

QUARQ | OTHER PRODUCTS

For the First Time User Ride at the front of a group, then at the back, and see the difference in power. The fastest riders pedal the lightest and the least, saving their energy for when it matters.

Ride up and down a hill with the same power. What you feel in your legs and your lungs your perceived effort - lags behind what you see on the computer. Riding with a power meter prevents you from blowing up on a long, punishing climb, and sees you swoop past fellow competitors on the way down.

Ride into the wind and against the wind with the same power. Do you notice a difference in speed or cadence or the gear you choose? Riding at a consistent power level saves energy and reduces muscle fatigue. It’s the best way to ride a Century, Sportive or IRONMAN®.

Shift into the big ring, get out of the saddle and see how hard you can go for five seconds. The world’s best sprinters put out more than 9.5 watts per pound. That’s over 1600 watts for a 170 pound rider.

Review your results. What was your maximum power output? What was your average power output? A power meter will verify you are getting stronger and faster irrespective of the course, your equipment or the conditions.

SRAM CYCLING FUND Cycling advocacy is part of SRAM’s DNA. Whether it is fighting for mountain bike trail access... bike lanes on city streets, or bikes for African healthcare workers; we are all about the power of bicycles. Our love affair with the bicycle goes beyond our great components. We care deeply about the places you ride. When you buy SRAM components, you are joining this effort. All SRAM employees are delighted to be part of an industry that not only makes your bicycling experience better, but also makes the world better through bicycling.

2016 SRAM CYCLING FUND

The SRAM Cycling Fund is the clearest expression of SRAM’s push for cycling infrastructure, access and safety. The Fund is a catalyst for growing cycling and the overall industry. This is good for retail dealers, bike companies, our competitors and SRAM. Our hope is that the SRAM Cycling Fund is an acceleration of an industry wide effort. The biggest barrier to increased bicycle use in daily lives is the lack of appropriate infrastructure. Cities need comfortable streets, secure bike parking and safe bikes lanes for people of all ages to benefit from cycling. To increase mountain and trail biking we need environmentally stable trails and trail access. The SRAM Cycling Fund supports national and international advocacy organizations that push for increased public investment in cycling infrastructure.
