Introducing: Vittoria’s Catalogue for 2018. September 2017 - The year has started well for us with some fantastic race results from our sponsored athletes in various disciplines. BMC has come on board across our entire tire range with the UCI Pro road racing team, the XC and Enduro MTB team as well as the BMC-Etixx Pro triathlon team. Their feedback and results are a testament for the quality and performance of Vittoria products. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER This is also a year of investment in knowledge. Vittoria’s manufacturing company Lion Tyres Thailand has completed the state-of-the-art bicycle tire/wheel test center at the rubber compound factory and R&D complex in Thailand. After the revolutionary innovation with Graphene and the unique custom extruder, capable of producing up to 4 different compounds in a single bicycle tires tread, Vittoria is now able to test its innovative and purpose-built products with scientiic precision to ensure perfection under any circumstances. MARKET TRENDS Vittoria has been very active regarding its product development as well. It has continued the Graphene revolution with the new and Graphene-improved Zafiro Pro, a Graphene-enhanced Barzo, an entirely updated Cyclocross range called Terreno with Graphene, All Mountain updates (both Martello and Mota have Graphene) as well as an entire new range of Plus-sized products (Mezcal, Morsa and Martello are all Graphene-enhanced). Cyclocross has always been a unique discipline and its increase in popularity is directly related to the growing enthusiasm for gravel. Vittoria recognizes the unique demands on tires of surface and weather conditions, offering dedicated dry, mixed and wet versions of its cyclocross range. The Plus-sized tire trend has shown its staying power as the segment continues to grow, inspiring Vittoria to bring several of its most appreciated models to this size range. The pro peloton is still in the trial stages for disc brake wheels, but enthusiasts on the road are not restricted by UCI requirements. Disc brake options are sought after in the market and Vittoria has updated its range accordingly. Last but not least, Vittoria recognized that it can be quite a challenge to identify and purchase the inner tubes customers desire. It introduces a new system that will make this process much more visual and easier for consumers and retail staff alike. Another exciting year ahead!

GRAPHENE EXPLAINED Graphene is a revolutionary material in the form of a very thin, nearly transparent sheet of pure carbon. In its extreme form it is as thin as a single atom (1/1,000,000,000th of a meter). Vittoria uses Graphene which is 2 to 8 atoms thin.

Vittoria’s use of pristine Graphene Vittoria only uses the most premium form of Graphene (pristine) to unlock the greatest possible improvements for all our products. The pristine Graphene Vittoria uses, in comparison to other forms of Graphene, offers 4 to 6 times greater improvements for the material it is applied to (carbon for wheels, rubber for tires).
Vittoria and Graphene: IT’S and no compromise With the application of Graphene in Vittoria wheels and tires, we have truly developed revolutionary products. Therefore, we have created a new product range called the “Intelligent Tire System” (IT’S).
Vittoria tires are now intelligent. IT’S compounds become harder and softer, depending on the needs of the rider. If the tire is rolling straight, the rubber is at its hardest and offers low rolling resistance. If the rider brakes, accelerates or corners, the compounds soften and offer signiicantly more grip.

NO COMPROMISE. Prior to the advanced development of Graphene, there was always the requirement of choosing between optimizing, or aiming at, speed, grip, durability and puncture protection. R&D AND NEW PRODUCTS
BIG INVESTMENT IN TEST CAPABILITIES With the revolutionary innovations of Graphene and 4C (4 compounds) at our ingertips, Vittoria is driven to get the most out of technological advantages. This is why signiicant investments were made in the extensive new test facilities, which oficially opened on the 15th of February 2017. The state-of-the-art bicycle tire/wheel test center in Thailand empowers Vittoria to test its innovative products with scientiic precision. We simulate precise conditions related to all climate and weather conditions, test the soundness of the construction and durability, wet and dry grip, as well as extreme forced failure scenarios. In addition, the added test abilities allow detailed wheel analysis and will further the development of Vittoria’s Perfect Match (wheel and tire bead optimization). The commissioning of the uniquely extensive test equipment is the inal step for Vittoria to take innovation and product development to the level where we offer the proven best-performing tires in the world.
LATEST PRODUCT DEVELOPMENTS Road Tires Vittoria’s road tire segment stands out with 2 key new improvements. The historic Corsa series is expanded with a Graphene-enhanced Corsa Control, beneitting from 4C (4 compounds) technology to deal best with cobble stones and rough roads. Also, the Zafiro Pro is now Graphene-enhanced as the result of Vittoria’s continued effort to bring this revolutionary material’s beneits to every product segment.
Cyclocross and Gravel Tires The product range of Vittoria in this segment has been completely overhauled, leading to the introduction of the Graphene-enhanced Terreno series. Understanding the unique challenges of terrain and the inluence of weather, the 3 new Terreno products (Dry, Mix and Wet) are prepared to deal with all challenges you might face.
MTB Tires The popularity of the cross-country tire Barzo demanded that Vittoria upgraded it to a Graphene-enhanced tire, which is now completed. This year also shows the result of Vittoria’s ambitions in the All-Mountain segment, with the Graphene-enhanced Martello and Mota already getting rave revues and notable results in the pro scene. The popularity of the plus-sized segment inspired Vittoria to introduce plus versions of the Barzo, Mezcal, Morsa and Martello.
Wheels The Qurano is now available with a disc brake option (30 and 46), just like the Elusion. Vittoria also introduces the new Reaxcion SL and Deamion Plus this year, keeping our wheel range optimized for size and usage trends.

THE IMPORTANCE OF E-BIKES The worldwide appeal of e-bikes continues to show tremendous growth, and for a good reason. Research shows that 80% of car rides globally cover a span less than 20 kilometers. It will come as no surprise that air pollution and trafic jams are ever-increasing concerns that directly impact our everyday health and happiness. Cities will continue to grow to gigantic proportions and these concerns are much more likely to get worse rather than improved. An unchanged future would likely not be a pretty picture, but fortunately we live in a time where people are aware and concerned about both their health and their environment. In fact, perhaps more than ever before people are also willing to act and do their part to make the necessary changes. E-bikes remove a lot of barriers that made people pick their cars over the bike in the past. It has been proven beyond doubt that using e-bikes for the shorter distances we travel, have a massive and measurable positive impact.

VITTORIA’S NEXT INNOVATION: E-WHEELS In collaboration with a partner, Vittoria now produces its own E-wheels for its bike builder customers. These wheels consist of an All-in-One engine hub for supported cycling, regenerative braking (like the KERS system in Formula 1) and Bluetooth-connected controls to set up the entirely wireless system exactly as the rider pleases. E-wheels are built with double-wall alloy rims, quality stainless spokes and durable front hubs (optionally with dynamo front hub for additional energy regeneration). The result is a precisely hand-built wheel set, tested in accordance with ISO standards for many, many enjoyable miles. TECH CASING COTTON casing Vittoria is the world’s leading manufacturer of tires with cotton Corespun casing. The sublime performance of Vittoria tires and tubulars is the product of years of experience, R&D, and advanced production technology. At its heart is our mastery of ine-cotton Corespun production. Simply put, the iner the Corespun fabric, the more supple the tire casing. The casing conforms closer to the road’s surface, providing a smoother ride, easier rolling, and better grip. The grade of fabric used in a tire’s casing is expressed in threads-per-inch (TPI): the higher the TPI number, the iner the threads, the denser the weave, and the suppler the tire. Uniquely, Vittoria makes casings with 320 TPI Corespun yarn—the inest available. Vittoria cotton casings differ in thread size and additive content, according to intended use: Corespun T 320 TPI
utilizes the inest thread available, exclusive to Vittoria. This special 320 TPI fabric makes for the lightest, supplest, and fastest casing ever, to sustain the highest pressures used on track.
Corespun K 320 TPI
has a mixture of aramid threads for casings where strength is of the essence.
Corespun 320 TPI
is our most advanced Corespun casing, made of the inest poly-cotton thread with no added aramid.
Corespun 290 TPI
is a high-TPI cotton with polyester yarn, producing a lexible, strong casing sustaining high pressures and offering outstanding performance and comfort.
Cotton 220 TPI
Cotton is the traditional material of high-quality racing tubulars. Vittoria uses the inest grade of natural cotton, 220 TPI, in a diverse range of top-class tubulars.
NYLON casing Nylon is a robust and durable artiicial iber traditionally used for strong tire casings. The artiicial iber can be very light but is not as supple as Corespun. Our nylon casings set a new standard in their class. Vittoria offers casings in nylon 180 TPI, 150 TPI, 120 TPI, nylon 60 TPI, and nylon 26 TPI, each equipping tires at its respective point on the price-performance scale, and all conferring the Vittoria characteristics of comfort, speed, and good handling.
TPI Vittoria tires and tubulars range from 26 TPI to 320 TPI. Riders in search of higher performance are more likely to choose higher-TPI tires. For many sporting riders, folding tires of around 150 TPI are a good all-round combination of weight, rolling resistance, durability, and comfort. A higher TPI brings the beneit of lower weight and rolling resistance, at the expense of durability. No-compromise riders seek out tubulars and open tubulars for the maximum lexibility of high TPI casings.
CONSTRUCTION Vittoria tubular The tread is glued by hand on the casing, a labor-intensive process exclusively used for premium tubulars. The tubular tire’s round proile gives it several advantages over any clincher. Cornering is more predictable and shock absorption is superior. Also, the broad glued interface to the rim spreads shock loads more evenly through the casing, letting the tire absorb big hits without delecting or slowing down. Vittoria strongly recommends Mastik Pro, offering great adhesion even at high tempertures (up to 140 degrees Celsius).

Vittoria open tubular The open tubular has exactly the same production process and properties as the tubular, except for the sown-in inner tube. Open tubulars are handmade with aramid folding bead for optimal clinching.
Vittoria open tubular, tubeless ready The open tubular TLR shares the same production process and properties as the open tubular, with the addition of a stronger bead material and a chafer for sidewall protection. For optimal safety, this construction is designed to withstand 18 bar of pressure on a standard alloy tubeless rim.
COMPOUNDS A tire’s tread compound, together with its casing, determines how well it holds the road. Vittoria tirelessly researches new compounds to give riders tires with even better performance, grip and longer life, in all conditions.
G+ Isotech®* is Vittoria’s unique Graphene compound with revolutionary G+*. No compromise is necessary with this compound that is superior in speed (rolling resistance), grip, durability and wear resistance. Endura is Vittoria’s basic compound, designed especially for durability. This compound is used for products that offer high-mileage, which is desired for training purposes. 4 Compounds (4C) is exclusively developed by Vittoria to achieve performance products without compromise. Vittoria 4C is a layering process, using 4 separate compounds in the same tread. The 4C process offers unmatched versatility, by allowing for separate base and surface compounds, in both the center and side areas of the tread. Beneiting from the different properties of each compound, including the G+ Isotech*, their distribution is extensively tested to deliver the best products imaginable. 3 Compounds (3C) is applied by Vittoria to deliver all-round products without compromise. Vittoria 3C is a layering process, using 3 separate compounds in the same tread. The different properties of each compound, including the G+ Isotech*, allow for the improved experience in all circumstances.
INNER TUBES Latex Inner Tubes Vittoria’s latex inner tubes are lightweight and fast, as they have a lower rolling resistance compared to butyl tubes. The thin latex stretches and deforms thanks to its highly elastic nature, making these tubes dificult to puncture. Latex inner tubes work well with latex sealant, now commonly used for additional protection.
Butyl Inner Tubes Vittoria’s butyl ultralite and lite inner tubes provide an airtight performance. The ultralite tubes are extruded with the latest available technology to ensure a uniform wall thinness and relatively high elasticity for butyl. The lite tubes have a thicker wall with the right balance between reliability and elasticity.

Tubeless Ready • A tubeless ready bead allows the tire to be used either with a tube, or with just tire sealant (no tube). • It is chosen for its unique shape, which locks into the rim wall to provide an airtight seal and ensure easy tubeless set-up, and to optimize air retention (minimize burping). • The Tubeless Ready Bead core is made from aramid. • Sometimes referred to as “TR” or “TRB” within the industry. • The Vittoria Tubeless Ready bead comes standard in TNT casings.
Aramid • It is chosen for its minimal weight, and tight it. • Due to its lexibility, it allows the tire to be folded. • The Vittoria aramid bead comes standard in Folding and TNT casings.
Rigid • The Vittoria Rigid bead is the most cost-effective technology of the whole range. • The steel bead core makes installation easy. • Its proven durability also makes it the choice for DH tire applications.
CASING The casing is the carcass or “body” of the tire. This is can be made in either the traditional open “clincher” style or in closed “tubular” style. Casings are usually made from either nylon or cotton material. Some feature additional materials, to increase durability. Casings are typically measured in Threads Per Inch or “TPI” for short. Generally, the higher the TPI, the more supple the ride quality is.
CASING MATERIALS Corespun Vittoria’s off-road Corespun casings for tubulars are based on the proven tradition of European road racing tires. This material offers maximum suppleness without compromising the durability. They make cornering more predictable and the shock absorption is superior. Nylon Vittoria’s proprietary polyamide threads are set in an optimized layout to maximize performance, feel, and durability. Nylon is the standard choice in the industry, due to its vulcanizing properties. Vittoria uses nylon material in Rigid, Folding, and TNT casings.

CASING TYPE Tubular A tubular tire casing has a perfectly round cross-section that completely encloses the inner tube. Vittoria tubular Mountain and Cyclocross tires feature a latex inner tube; chosen to best resist puncture, and increase elasticity. • The perfectly round casing, supple material, and elastic inner tube, work together to minimize impact delection. • Tubulars have reduced rolling resistance and increased comfort, when compared to standard clincher type tires.

TNT TNT represents the top-of-the-line clincher MTB casing available from Vittoria. TNT, short for Tube/No-Tube, can be used with or without an inner tube. What originated as our Tubeless-Ready casing has evolved into the obvious choice for racers who demand race day dependability. • The casing starts with a proven, lightweight 120 TPI carcass, which provides the trademark Vittoria supple feel. This allows the tread to minimize delection, and reduce rolling resistance. • All Vittoria MTB TNT tires come with a sidewall protection layer • The added layer of sidewall protection virtually eliminates sidewall cuts. TNT features work together to provide an unbeatable package, without compromise.
XC TNT Casing (Cross Country) and CX TNT Casing The TNT casing used in XC and CX tires is the lightest version of our TNT casing, and features the dependable tubeless-ready bead, and added sidewall protection.

Wide rim proiles for more grip and speed Our research, testing and the practical experience from professional teams riding on Vittoria products show that wide tubular rim proiles and wide clincher rim proiles improve the tire performance in comparison to traditional narrow rim proiles. Vittoria wheels are designed to beneit from this improvement. The tread contact area is shorter and wider, so the tire grips and handles better in corners. In addition the tire casing (clincher and tubulars) deforms less, making the tire faster because of lower rolling resistance.
Perfect Match tire–rim interface If anyone knows how rims and tubulars need to it, it’s Vittoria. The tire-rim combination must be perfect for security as well as overall performance. Today’s deep rims make that even more critical. All concerns disappear when you ride Vittoria tires mounted on full-carbon rims with the Perfect Match or Speedlock® proile.
Vittoria SwitchIT® road hub All Vittoria road wheels are built on a hub of our own design, developed by Vittoria and produced according to our well-known high quality standards. The internal components are all based on bike industry-proven parts. Our spokes, whether round-section or bladed, are straight-pull and specially produced for Vittoria. This allows a construction that is much stronger and less prone to failure in comparison to bended spokes. Rear hubs have an oversized drive-side lange, with spokes laced in a 2:1 ratio. This creates an optimal balance in spoke tension on each side of the wheel and let the wheel directly respond on your actions.
Vittoria SwitchIT freewheel All road wheels have the unique Vittoria SwitchIT freewheel system (except for the models Vittoria Alusion and Session*). Cassettes mount on a freewheel body that can be quickly removed and replaced without tools—easily change gear ratios to tailor your wheels for any course. Switch quickly between Shimano, Campagnolo, or SRAM cassettes, with easy maintenance.

SwitchIT 2 is compatible with thru axles up to 12mm diameter, 32 engagement points and 4 synchronic pawls with individual springs. Maximum reliability for your ride.
Vittoria Road Disc hubs Developed with Professional riders to bring you fun and performance. The Vittoria Road Disc hubs merge the construction and performance of our proven SwitchIT Road hub with Disc-brake performance and our new SwitchIT 2 freewheel-system. The oversized Drive side lange is perfectly aligned with the disc speciic 2-cross spoke lacing. Vittoria Disc hubs are compatible with 12mm or 15mm thru-axles in the front and 12mm or QR axles in the rear. The Centerlock disc brake mount can be turned into international 6 bolt standard with the Vittoria disc adapter.
Versatile of-road hub All Vittoria off-road wheels are built on a hub of our own design and development, and produced according to our speciication. This has resulted in a unique robust and proven off-road design that utilizes 24 or 28 straight-pull spokes. All popular axle types are supported, from quick-release, to 15 mm front and 12 mm rear thru-axle. Brake disc mounting is Shimano Centerlock® or international 6 bolt standard. Shimano Centerlock® can also be converted to 6-bolt using the Vittoria rotor adapter.
Asymmetric rims build a stifer wheel. The Asymmetric rim is the foundation for a laterally stiffer wheel, by balancing the spoke angles on left and right sides. This is needed on disc-braked fronts, where the brake disk mount displaces the hub lange to the hub center, as well as on rear hubs. The 2.5 mm offset from center on asymmetric rims minimizes differences in spoke tension and equalizes spoke-lacing angles, making the wheel stiffer and more stable.
Run tubeless securely with Speedlock® Setting a new standard in security for tubeless tires, Speedlock® is a subtly proiled rim-bed that signiicantly improves tubeless compatibility of Carbon Clincher and off-road alloy rims. Even at lower pressures, tires are held in position and roll-off risk is reduced. It also makes installing and inlating tubeless tires much easier.

VITTORIA’s WARRANTY Ride your wheels. We will look after them. The Vittoria promise: the easiest way to enjoy your wheels. You will discover an entire Vittoria network to provide you with support service, spare parts and one-to-one communication. Your Vittoria secure tag is the key to access it all. Every wheel has a holographic ID seal that records product type and history. You register the product ID and your ownership, ensuring that the Vittoria technicians have everything they need to keep your wheels in top condition. Every Service Center gets the same, dedicated workstation with the best tools, linked to the Vittoria global data center for rapid access to spare parts ordering and dispatch. We do the hard work—so you can play harder.
EXTENT OF LIMITED WARRANTY Vittoria warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of two years after original purchase. This warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made through the retailer where the bicycle or the Vittoria component was purchased. Original proof of purchase is required.
LOCAL LAW This warranty statement gives the customer speciic legal rights. The customer may also have other rights, which vary from state to state (USA), from province to province (Canada), and elsewhere in the world from country to country. To the extent that this warranty statement is consistent with the local law, this warranty shall be deemed modiied to be consistent with such law, under such local law, certain disclaimers and limitations of this warranty statement may apply to the customer. For example, some states in the United States of America, as well as some governments outside of the United States (including provinces in Canada) may: a. Preclude the disclaimers and limitations of this warranty statement from limiting the statutory rights of the consumer (e.g. United Kingdom). b. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY To the extent allowed by local law, except for the obligations speciically set forth in this warranty statement, in no event shall Vittoria or its third party supplies be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY This warranty does not apply to products that have been incorrectly installed and/or adjusted according to the respective Vittoria technical installation manual. The Vittoria installation manuals can be found online at www.vittoria.com. • This warranty does not apply to damage to the product caused by a crash, impact, abuse of the product, noncompliance with manufacturers speciications of usage or any other circumstances in which the product has been subjected to forces or loads beyond its design. • This warranty does not apply when the product has been modiied. • This warranty does not apply when the QR code has been deliberately altered, defaced or removed. • This warranty does not apply to normal wear. Wear parts are subject to damage as a result of normal use, failure to service according to Vittoria recommendations and/or riding or installation in conditions or applications other than recommended. The higher lexibility leads to more speed (improved rolling resistance) and more comfort than a standard butyl tube. latex tubes are lightweight, they can help save weight.
