With the addition of especially adherent Tencel® fibres, the sole has a claw-like grip when it’s slippery underfoot. Die LOWA „G+“-Sohle ist extrem haltbar und auf trockenem Untergrund sehr griffig. Darüber hinaus überzeugt sie durch besonders harmonisches Abrollverhalten. The LOWA „G+“ outsole is extremely durable with good traction on dry terrain. With the addition of especially adherent Tencel® fibres, we have created an outsole surface that is extremely grippy. That’s because the cellulose fibres cling firmly to the ground underfoot, even in icy, snowy and wet conditions. Combined with our triedand-tested rubber blend, the outsole is extremely long-lasting and durable. The outsole’s lugs are designed to perfectly support a natural roll-through and guarantee balanced ground contact in every phase of the gait. ¬ P roven Safety! In the development of the „G+“ outsole, extensive field testing was combined with scientific research in the laboratory. The outsole’s lugs were thus so designed to adapt optimally to the ergonomic roll-through characteristics of the foot. That delivers outstanding outsole grip even on ice and snow.

¬ Textilfasern für Rutschfestigkeit = G3 G3, dieses Kürzel steht für eine Sohlenkonstruktion, die reibungsspezifische Vorteile von Textilfasern mit einer speziellen Gummimischung verbindet. Dieser Materialmix sorgt dafür, dass die G3-Sohle auch Eis, Matsch und Schnee noch Grip bietet und für sicheren Stand und gutes Vorankommen sorgt. Die Anordnung der Stollen ist so an der Abrollbewegung des Fußes orientiert, dass in jeder Schrittphase mindestens einer oder mehrere Stollen Kontakt zum Untergrund haben. Die Gummimischung ist besonders abriebfest und form- und kältebeständig – für viele Jahre Performance der der Sohle. ¬ geprüfte Sicherheit! Die G3-Sohlen sind in aufwändigen Labortests und Feldversuchen geprüft worden. Sie entsprechen der Europäischen Norm EN 13287/2007, die als Indikator für die Rutschfestigkeit von Sohlen gilt. Die Labortests haben bewiesen, dass dieser Sohlentyp bis zu 32 Prozent mehr Rutschfestigkeit auf verschiedenen Untergründen bietet, als es herkömmliche Sohlen tun. Ein Sicherheitsplus bei winterlichen Bedingungen.
¬ Fibres for slip resistance = G3 G3: This is our shorthand for an outsole construction that has beneficial frictional characteristics due to fibres mixed with a special rubber blend. This material mix offers spectacular advantages that ensure the G3 sole provides great traction on ice, slush and snow, plus promises secure footing and good forward motion. The configuration of the lugs is designed to orient itself to the foot’s roll-through. That orientation ensures that a minimum of one or more lugs has contact with the ground in every phase of the gait cycle. The rubber blend is particularly abrasion resistant as well as stable in shape and coldproof, offering many years of outsole performance. ¬ Proven safety! G3 soles have been proven in extensive laboratory tests as well as in field testing. They meet the European Standard (EN) 13287/2007, a test method for validating the slip resistance of soles. Laboratory tests have proven this type of sole is up to 32 percent more slip resistance on different surfaces than traditional soles. That’s one big plus for safety in wintry conditions.
