Die I-Core Sohlenkonstruktion setzt sich aus folgenden Bestandteilen zusammen: ¬ Vibram® Dolent Gummilaufsohle ¬ PU-Dämfungskeil ¬ TPU-Steigeisenbügel-Aufnahme ¬ TPU-Chassis ¬ I-Core Karbon Einlage ¬ 6mm PP-Glasfaser Brandsohle mit 2,5 mm EVA Dämfungs- und Isolationsschicht

Beim Wandern und Bergsteigen, speziell auf kleinen Pfaden, Wegen und erst recht in unwegsamem Gelände entspricht die orthopädische „Mitte“ des Sprunggelenks nicht der orthopädischen „Mitte“ des Kniegelenks. Eine ganz natürliche Folge des Fußaufsatzes der eben nicht zentral unterhalb des Hüftgelenkes passiert sondern etwas weiter medial. Aufgrund dieser Tatsachen ist die Längsachse des Unterschenkels nicht exakt senkrecht sondern leicht nach außen geneigt. Die asymmetrische Schaftkonstruktion der FlexFit-Synchro Technologie trägt dieser biomechanischen Erkenntnis Rechnung. Der Schaft des Schuhs bewegt sich „synchron“ zum Unterschenkel und verbessert auf diese Weise spürbar den Gehkomfort.

Die „I-Core“ Karbon Einlage bildet den intelligenten Kern der Sohlenkonstruktion. Perfekte Flexions- und Torsionsstabilität wird durch exakte Ausrichtung der Karbonfasern an die Kraftarme erreicht. Auf diese Weise können „verstärkende“ Elemente zu Gunsten von dämpfenden Elementen auf ein Minimum reduziert werden. The “I-Core“ sole construction consists of the following components: ¬ Vibram® Dolent rubber sole ¬ shock absorbing PU wedge ¬ TPU crampon slot ¬ TPU chassis ¬ I-Core carbon insert ¬ 6 mm PP glass fibre insole with a 2.5 mm shock absorbing and isolating layer made from EVA

When hiking and climbing, especially on small paths, and even more so on rough terrain, the orthopedic “centre“ of the ankle joint does not correspond to the orthopedic “centre“ of the knee joint. This is a natural result of the way the foot touches the ground: not centrally below the hip joint but a little bit more medially. As a consequence, the longitudinal axis of the lower leg is not completely vertical but slightly inclined to the outside. The asymmetrical upper construction of the FlexFitSynchro technology takes this biomechanical knowledge into account. The shaft of the shoe moves „in sync“ with the lower leg, thereby noticeably improving walking comfort.

Diese MONOWRAP® Konstruktion ist die perfekte Kombination aus Stabilität, Schutz und Dämpfung. Leichte Schaftmaterialien werden durch die auf den Schaft aufgespritzten MONOWRAP® Elemente zusätzlich geschützt und verstärkt. Der im Vorfuß weichere 2/3 TPU/Nylon Stabilizer sorgt für gute Stabilität zwischen Ferse und Mittelfuß und hervorragende Flexion im Zehenbereich.
