JUST BECAUSE IT WICKS DOESN’T MEAN IT ACTUALLY WORKS Polartec ® Power Dry ® was created to give base fabrics greater efficiency, more dependable wicking properties, faster dry times and better overall performance. Not all base fabrics are created equal, and many can only provide temporary wicking chemistry that fades and weakens with every wash. By designing mechanical wicking fabric with our patented bi-component construction we invented a superior base material that pulls moisture from the skin, expands for faster evaporation and lasts the life of the fabric.

ELASTICS NEED TO FLEX AND STRETCH WITHOUT STRAINING Polartec ® Power Stretch ® was developed to expand our base fabric’s durability and range of motion. The majority of elastic base materials can stretch during movement, but lack the tensile strength to recover their original shape and become permanently damaged. By utilizing elastic fibers with enhanced resilience in our stretch construction we made a performance-fit base fabric that can handle the pressure of demanding physical activities.

JUST BECAUSE IT WICKS DOESN’T MEAN IT ACTUALLY WORKS Polartec ® Power Dry ® FR was created to give flame resistant base fabrics greater efficiency and more dependable wicking properties. Chemical fabric treatments can only provide temporary wicking because the ability fades and weakens with every wash. By designing patented mechanical wicking properties into our bicomponent construction we invented a superior base material that pulls moisture from the skin, expands for faster evaporation and lasts the life of the fabric.

WE WANTED LESS FABRIC TO DO EVEN MORE Polartec ® Power Grid ™ was created to push the performance of our base fabric technologies even further. By developing a patented grid design structure we discovered a new way to reduce fabric weight while increasing warmth and compressibility in the process. This grid construction enhances both wicking efficiency and breathability by generating channels of targeted touch points that absorb and diffuse moisture vapor for faster evaporation.
