Chris Stone crosses the finish line at the Sinister 7 Ultra+ Marathon in Crowsnest Pass last weekend. Chris was joined by Al Rankel, Marty Robertson, Tom McGrath, Brian Yorke and Robert Renman as the Redline Overlords. They were the first team to finish the gruelling race. Giving them a run for their money were Nadyia Fry and Jakub Sunbera, who came in a close second running as a duo. Top solo runners were Sean Meissner and Abi Moore. Abi was top female last year as well, and set a new course record for women. Organizer Brian Gallant says the race went exceptionally well. “We had literally hundreds of comments from racers saying it was the best run race they had attended. They loved the community and they can’t wait for the seventh annual Sinster 7 in 2014. That’s pretty impressive considering we didn’t know if the race would go ahead due to the flooding in the area.” For more photos and results see www.sinister7.com .
