A weekly breath of fresh air!
June 24, 2015 Year 4, Issue 40
Time for tradition Sunlight streams through an open roof onto the face of a traditional grass dancer Saturday evening at Piikani Nation. The two-day powwow was a highlight of a week filled with activities celebrating National Aboriginal Day. Dancers demonstrated grace, agility, athleticism, endurance and pride in their culture while dancing together in the sunlit arbour. Watch for more photos in next week’s issue of Shootin’ the Breeze.
