A weekly breath of fresh air!

October 14, 2015 Year 5, Issue 5

Remembered with red This poignant visual reminder of the missing and murdered aboriginal women of Canada was put together by Wendy Ryan of Pincher Creek. She wanted to help create local awareness for the REDress Project, an art installation by Métis artist Jaime Black of Winnipeg. When asked what inspired her, Wendy said, “I wanted to honour the aboriginal women that are missing and murdered across Canada. I have a connection with the Piikani Buffalo Runners Society in Brocket and I felt it was a good fit for me to be involved.” Photo by Brenda Shenton
