Salon stories Free haircuts for stories were offered Friday afternoon at Mirror Mirror Salon in Pincher Creek. Owner Shirrae Riehs says she did it to promote Family Literacy Day, which is this Wednesday, and “to help build confidence in young readers.” Riley McCollister did a great job reading to Shirrae as she trimmed his locks. “We loved every minute of it,” she says. “It was so much fun.” Read more about Family Literacy Day activities on page 16.
