In this beginner robotics program, your little engineer will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Whether learning about motors while building drills and catapults or exploring how to use sensors while playing with a magic wand or a goal kicker, we’re certain your child will have a great time while they are learning a ton about robots and how to work effectively with a partner!

Join Brick Tech this fall as we plan, build and test LEGO® projects based all around dinosaurs! In this new offering we will explore STEM concepts relevant to all things dino. Participants will build guided projects such as a security fence, transportation truck and a manual feeding apparatus. All projects will revolve around dinosaurs while providing an opportunity for hands on learning and learning through play, as well as peer interaction. Junior Programmers
Ages 5 to 8
Discover the power of programming! Students will build algorithms using programming fundamentals such as sequencing, conditionals, loops, functions, events and learn debugging as they create their projects. Students will be able begin their coding journey using Scratch Jr.! Start with making a character dance to produce a fully simulated environment. In this introductory sequence of projects in Scratch Jr., get gradually introduced to a variety of practices and concepts while using a variety of blocks and tools. Materials needed: Students will need to bring Computer (Windows or Mac) to each session. Instructor: Code For Fun. No class 11/23.
