Career Day was an incredible event with 29 alumnae returning to share knowledge and advice with students starting to contemplate their future.

Students chose career presentations based on personal interest and strengths. Members of the National Honor Society and G.I.R.L. (Girls’ Initiative for Rising Leaders) Club introduced the presenters and hosted question and answer sessions. With so many different alumnae vocations, the students were able to learn about varying career paths including medicine, business, engineering, design, education, and many others.

Students heard from alumnae about how their time at MDSA equipped them for life after graduation. Maria Schaefer Nauman ’86 recounted that Mount de Sales “prepared me well for the rigors of successfully navigating a university curriculum…[and] gave me an unshakable foundation in the Catholic Faith.”

Jessica Henry ’11 added, “Mount de Sales helped me become a woman who is always seeking to grow intellectually and has a heart to care for others, while keeping my eyes on Christ.”

Thank you to the alumnae for their knowledge, advice, and time. We are grateful to Christen Purcell, Erinn Colletti, and Jordan D’Antonio, counselors, Kim Dignan, volunteer coordinator, Katie Ferrante, director of alumnae relations, and the student volunteers for putting together this awesome opportunity.
