PERFORMING ARTS TAKE CENTER STAGE

The first annual Winter Showcase provided the drama and dance students an opportunity to share what they learned during the fall semester.

The Honors Acting Ensemble presented How I Got That Part, a hilarious one-act play all about the ups and downs of auditions and casting. The Winter Dance Concert made up Act II of the program, featuring the Dance Fundamentals and Ballet Technique classes followed by an impressive set of pieces by the Honors Dance Company, including a collaboration with the Honors Chamber Ensemble.

The Winter Showcase reflected the MDSA educational performing arts program, which balances process and product, allowing the girls to discover and share their talents with the community.
