IT #LADINSKIERS - I GIOVANI CAMPIONI DELL’ALTA BADIA Di Gabriele Pezzaglia - Race Ski Magazine Terra di agonismo, culla di talenti, espressione di campioni: eccola l’Alta Badia, che oggi più di sempre sta vivendo un altro momento magico con i suoi ragazzi inseriti nelle squadre nazionali azzurre e in rampa di lancio in direzione del grande sci. Giovani cresciuti sulle nevi ladine, grazie al lavoro del territorio altamente professionale ma mai esasperante. In prima linea dei giovani leoni azzurri c’è Hannes Zingerle da La Ila. Classe ’95, è il campione italiano in carica di gigante, titolo ottenuto lo scorso marzo a Cortina d’Ampezzo. Un trionfo che lo ha inserito di diritto fra le giovani promesse dello sci mondiale difendendo i colori dei carabinieri, anche grazie ad una stagione sicuramente positiva in Coppa Europa. Hannes si è aggiudicato il gigante di Coppa Europa di Kranjska Gora su un pendio selettivo come il Podkoren, adesso lo aspetta il palcoscenico della Coppa del Mondo. E già, la massima serie, lo sci dei grandi, dei big, dei pezzi da novanta: gigantista in ascesa sarà fra i punti di forza della squadra nazionale per il leggendario appuntamento fra le porte larghe proprio sulle nevi di casa della sua Gran Risa. Hannes rappresenta l’Alta Badia incarnandone lo spirito: una crescita regolare, costante, misurata, equilibrata, senza strappi. Un cammino verso l’alto livello controllato e calcolato, frutto di lavoro, impegno, dedizione. La sua terra ha raggiunto con questo modo di procedere traguardi importanti alzandosi ad un livello di eccellenza mondiale, Hannes è sulla strada giusta per diventarlo nel settore dello sci agonistico dove si cimenta con assoluta dedizione. Questa sarà una stagione davvero importante per lui: se non quella della consacrazione finale, sicuramente quella di un ulteriore e deciso passo in avanti. Il fratello più grande di Hannes: Alex Zingerle, classe ’92, è di grande esempio per gli altri atleti. Vanta di un palmarès molto promettente. In coppa del mondo, oltre alle 5 partecipazioni sulla Gran Risa, vanta di un 18° e 19° posto. Alex è di esempio non solo a livello di risultati, ma soprattutto per la sua dedizione e per il grande impegno. Sin da piccolo ha inseguito i propri sogni con massima umiltà e tutt’ora ce la sta mettendo tutta per inseguire quel sogno nato sin dai primi giorni sugli sci, ammirando la mitica Gran Risa. In squadra nazionale giovanile quindi Matteo Canins da San Ciascian. Anch’egli ’98, al momento è rimasto nella squadra nazionale azzurra giovanile: per il terzo anno consecutivo Matteo, un furetto grintoso sempre a tutta, avrà presumibilmente una duplice arena in cui misurarsi. Il finanziere cercherà di strappare alcune convocazioni in Coppa Europa, tenendo d’occhio sempre le gare italiane per abbassare i punti e continuare a fare esperienza. Fa parte di una squadra veramente valida, una squadra giovanile su cui la Federazione Italiana Sport Invernali ha investito davvero con forza, inviato un team così giovane in estate in Argentina a Ushuaia per un lungo stage di allenamento. Di questo gruppo fa parte anche Manuel Ploner da San Ciascian. Giovane, giovanissimo, addirittura un 2001. È entrato in squadra azzurra al termine del secondo anno Aspiranti. Ploner è stato lo scorso inverno il giovane italiano più interessante: si è messo in mostra nel Gran Premio Italia dominando diverse competizioni e dando dimostrazione di una solidità impressionante per essere alle prime armi. Ma Ploner non è certo tipo che si spaventa: una voglia di crescere senza eguali, una determinazione innata, un talento da vendere. In bacheca già trofei del valore di un argento in gigante all’European Youth Olympic Festival, tanta roba. Un lungagnone ma compatto, al momento più slalomista, ma sicuramente pronto come succede oggi nello sci moderno a prendere la strada della doppia disciplina. Insomma, una compagine di giovanotti in cerca di gloria, ancora con un percorso verso ma con un unico fine: diventare competitivi nella Coppa del Mondo e farlo con il sogno di essere primi attori sulla Gran Risa. DE #LADINSKIERS - DIE JUNGEN MEISTER VON ALTA BADIA Von Gabriele Pezzaglia - Race Ski Magazine Alta Badia ist ein Land des Wettbewerbsgeistes, eine Wiege von Talenten und der Ausdruck von Champions. Heute durchlebt das Tal einen ganz besonderen, zauberhaften Moment mit seinen Jungs in den italienischen Nationalmannschaften und auf der Startrampe, um weltberühmte Skistars zu werden. Jugendliche, die im ladinischen Schnee aufgewachsen sind und von der hochprofessionellen und nie zögerlichen Arbeit des Territoriums profitiert haben. An der Spitze der jungen blauen Löwen steht Hannes Zingerle aus La Ila. Er wurde 1995 geboren und ist italienischer Meister im Riesentorlauf. Den Titel erlangte er im März 2019 in Cortina d‘Ampezzo. Dieser Triumph hat ihm zu Recht den Zugang zu den jungen Hoffnungen des Weltskisports verschafft, indem er die Farben der Carabinieri verteidigte. Dies war auch dank einer positiven Saison im Rahmen des Europacups möglich. Hannes gewann den Europacup-Riesentorlauf in Kranjska Gora auf einer harten Piste wie der Podkoren. Nun erwartet ihn die Bühne des Weltcups. Und schon befindet er sich in der Topserie, im großen Skisport der Großen, der absoluten Meister: Der aufstrebende Riesentorlaufmeister gehört zu den Stärken der Nationalmannschaft. Und dies verdankt er der legendären Begegnung zwischen den breiten Toren des Gran-Risa-Schnees seiner Heimat. Hannes steht für das Alta Badia und verkörpert dessen Geist: sein regelmäßiges, stetiges, gemessenes, ausgeglichenes und rissfreies Wachstum. Eine kontrollierte und wohl berechnete Karriere, die das Ergebnis von Arbeit, Mühe und Engagement ist. Mit dieser Vorgehensweise hat sein Land wichtige Ziele erreicht. Es gehört nun zur Weltklasse. Hannes ist auf dem richtigen Weg, um ein Weltklasse-Skifahrer zu werden, da er sich seinem Traum mit absolutem Engagement widmet. Diese Saison wird für ihn von wesentlicher Bedeutung sein: Wenn sie auch nicht den Gesamtsieg bringen sollte, bringt sie ihn mit Sicherheit einige entscheidende Schritte nach vorne. Hannes‘ älterer Bruder, Alex Zingerle, geboren 1992, ist ein gutes Beispiel für die anderen Sportler. Er blickt auf eine ganze Reihe vielversprechender Erfolge zurück. Im Weltcup rühmt er sich neben den fünf Teilnahmen auf der Gran Risa auch eines 18. und 19. Platzes. Alex ist nicht nur ein Beispiel für Ergebnisse, sondern vor allem für sein Engagement und seine großartigen Leistungen. Seit seiner Kindheit hat er seine Träume mit größter Demut verfolgt und bis heute bemüht er sich voll und ganz um jenen Traum zu verwirklichen, der auf seine ersten Tage auf den Skiern zurückgeht, als er die wundervolle Gran Risa bewunderte. In der Jugendnationalmannschaft findet sich dann Matteo Canins aus San Ciascian. Auch er wurde 1998 geboren und ist im Moment in der italienischen Jugendnationalmannschaft geblieben: Das dritte Jahr in Folge wird sich Matteo, ein stets lebhafter Sportler, voraussichtlich auf einer zweifachen Arena messen müssen. Der Beamte der Finanzwache wird versuchen, einige Male im Europacup einberufen zu werden, wobei er immer die italienischen Rennen im Auge behält, um Punkte zu machen und weiterhin Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Er gehört zu einer wirklich guten Mannschaft, einer Jugendmannschaft, in die der italienische Wintersportverband massiv investiert hat. Diesen Sommer hat er eine junge Mannschaft nach Ushuaia in Argentinien geschickt, um dort ein langes Trainingspraktikum zu absolvieren. Zu dieser Gruppe gehört auch Manuel Ploner aus San Ciascian. Jung, sehr jung sogar - Jahrgang 2001. Er trat dem italienischen Team am Ende des zweiten Jahres als Bewerber bei. Im vergangenen Winter war Ploner der interessanteste junge Italiener: Er trat beim Großen Preis von Italien an, wo er verschiedene Wettbewerbe dominierte, und bewies als Anfänger eine beeindruckende Beständigkeit. Aber Ploner ist sicherlich nicht der Typ, der sich einschüchtern lässt: ein unvergleichbarer Wunsch nach Wachstum, eine angeborene Entschlossenheit und Talent zum Verkaufen. Auf dem Schwarzen Brett stehen bereits Trophäen im Wert einer Silbermedaille im Riesentorlauf beim European Youth Olympic Festival - große Erfolge. Ein groß gewachsener, jedoch kompakter Junge, im Moment eher ein Slalomfahrer, aber wie es heute im modernen Skisport üblich ist, dazu bereit, den Weg von zwei Disziplinen zu beschreiten. Kurzum: ein Team junger Männer auf der Suche nach Ruhm, immer noch auf dem Weg, aber mit ein und demselben Ziel der Teilnahme an der Weltmeisterschaft mit dem Traum, die ersten Akteuren der Gran Risa zu werden. Ihr Gran Risa. Weiter so, ihr Kämpfer!

EN #LADINSKIERS - THE YOUNG CHAMPIONS OF ALTA BADIA By Gabriele Pezzaglia - Race Ski Magazine Land of competitive spirit, cradle of talents, expression of champions: welcome to Alta Badia, which today is more than ever experiencing another magical moment, with its boys and girls joining the national ski teams, eager and ready to take on major international competitions. Young people have grown up on the Ladin snow, thanks to the highly professional but never exhausting work of the territory. At the forefront of the young blue lions, we find Hannes Zingerle from La Ila. Born in 95, he is the Italian giant slalom champion, a title he won last March in Cortina d'Ampezzo. A triumph that had him rightfully join the ranks of young promises of world skiing, defending the colours of the carabinieri, also thanks to a certainly positive season in the European Cup. Hannes won the European Cup giant of Kranjska Gora on the challenging Podkoren slope; now, the World Cup's stage awaits him. And already at the top series, the premier-league skiing for would-be champions: the rising giant slalom skier will be one of among the key members national team for the legendary appointment between the wide gates right on the home snows of his Gran Risa. Hannes represents Alta Badia embodying its spirit: regular, steady, measured, and balanced growth without boasting. A path to the top, controlled and calculated, which arises from work, commitment and dedication. His homeland has achieved important goals this way, raising itself to world-class excellence. As for Hannes, he is well on his way to make a mark in world-class competitive skiing, where he ventures with absolute dedication. This will be a major season for him: if not as his final confirmation as a world-class skier, surely as a further and decisive step towards that goal. Alex Zingerle, Hannes' older brother, born in 1992, is a great example for other athletes. He shows a very promising list of achievements. In the World Cup, further to his five participations on the Gran Risa, he boasts an 18th and 19th place. Alex is an example not only in terms of results, but above all of dedication and unyielding commitment. As a child, he pursued his dreams with the utmost humility; today, he is still doing his best to turn those dreams, born on his first days on skis admiring the legendary Gran Risa, into reality. In the national youth team, we also find Matteo Canins from San Ciascian. Also born in 98, he stays for now with the national youth team: Matteo, a gritty, never-say-die competitor, will presumably have a dual competition arena for the third year in a row. The financier will try to snatch some European Cup calls, always keeping an eye on the Italian races to lower the score and continue to gain experience. He belongs to a really strong team, a youth team in which the Italian Winter Sports Federation has heavily invested; in fact, the entire team was shipped to Ushuaia, Argentina last summer for a long training session. Manuel Ploner from San Ciascian is also part of this group. Young, very young - born just in 2001! He joined the Italian team at the end of the second year as one of the "aspiranti" (candidates). Last winter, Ploner was the most interesting young Italian: he showed off in the Italian Grand Prix, dominating various competitions and demonstrating an impressive solidity for a beginner. But Ploner does not get scared easily: he is driven by an unmatched eagerness to grow, an innate determination, and tons of talent. He can already showcase major trophies like the silver he won at the giant slalom of the European Youth Olympic Festival - so much potential! With a relatively tall yet compact figure, he has been focusing on slalom for now, but feels certainly ready -as usual in modern skiing - to tackle the double discipline. In short, a team of youngsters in search of glory, still under development but with a single purpose: to become competitive at World Cup level and do so by winning on the Gran Risa. Their Gran Risa, in fact. Come on, warriors!
