Whether you’re looking for bargains or cleaning out your home, Wentzville’s Citywide Yard Sale is for you! Join us for our Fall Citywide Yard Sale on Friday and Saturday, SEP 22 and 23. Rid your home of any unwanted items. Yard Sale booklets are no longer provided. To learn more about yard sales, please visit www.wentzvillemo.gov/YardSale. A Permit Application will not be required for yard sales held on these dates.

Large-Item Pickup: Large-Item Pickup is a free service that must be scheduled. It is limited to three free large-item pickups per quarter per resident household. To schedule a large-item pickup, please visit www.wentzvillemo.gov/SWRequest.

Letters To Santa

Ages: All Ages

Partake in this special holiday tradition and write a letter to Santa. Wentzville Parks and Recreation will mail your letter and help Santa deliver his reply to you. Santa is a very busy man and needs all letters sent to him by DEC 16. Please write legibly, or the elves will not be able to deliver Santa’s reply. You can find a letter template or drop off your letter at one of the mailboxes located at City Hall, the WREC or the Kolb Building during Holiday Night Lights. The template can also be found online at www.wentzvillemo.gov/LettersToSanta.

Tree Lighting And Christmas Parade

Historic Downtown Wentzville Ages: All Ages

The Annual Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade is a Wentzville tradition. Mayor Nick Guccione will officially light the tree at 5:30P just prior to the start of the Annual Christmas Parade.

The parade will begin at approximately 6P in Historic Downtown Wentzville. Following the parade attendees may enjoy cookies, candy canes, hot chocolate and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Station 1 Firehouse. Please visit www.wentzvillemo.gov/ChristmasParade to learn more.

Santa Claus Visits

Ages: All Ages

Between 11A and 4P on Sunday, DEC 17, Santa Claus will stop by your home for a special visit. You will be notified via text when Santa has started his route and receive another when you are his next stop. Both notifications include a video from Santa himself. Santa will bring goodies, but you may add additional gifts for $10 per child. This program is for Wentzville residents only. You do not have to pay to add children to the visit, only for additional gifts. (Min 30/Max 50)

The one-mile race welcomes participants to take part in a morning Thanksgiving Day race. All racers will receive a custom long-sleeved T-shirt.* Sign you and your pooch up for the Dog Mile and prove who has the fastest four legs in Wentzville! Proof of vaccination is required at time of registration.

Day-of-race registration will not be offered.

Packet pickup is NOV 20 from 3-5P and NOV 21 from 5-7:30P at the WREC. Course and parking will close to vehicle traffic at 7:45A. The Dog Mile will begin at the conclusion of the Wentzville Wobble. (Min 100/Max 300)

*Those registered after OCT 9 are not guaranteed a shirt.

**Registration costs: $25 before AUG 1, $30 before OCT 26, $35 OCT 27NOV 20. No refunds after NOV 1.

Ages: 4-7

Drivers to the starting line and get ready to race each other in your Power Wheels! Modifications are welcome and will run in their own race. After the races, there will be a raffle and prizes for first, second and third place. Participants must bring their own vehicle. Closed-toed shoes and helmets are required for participation.

Check in starts at 10A and the first heat will start at 11A. The raffle winner will be drawn at 10:45A. (Min10/Max 100)

*First racer is $20/30. Each additional racer is $10.
