Group Swim Lessons

Ages: 6 Months+

Group swim lessons are a great way for your child to learn with the support of peers in a fun group environment. Session dates and times are listed below followed by the descriptions of the classes offered. TU/TH classes are 35 minutes and SA classes are 40 minutes. No class OCT 31 or NOV 25.

Weeknight Swim Lessons

Saturday Swim Lessons

Ages: Toddler (6-35 Months)

Develop your child’s comfort in and around water and prepare them for future instruction without a parent. This level focuses on mastering blowing bubbles, kicking, floating on back with parent support and swimming motions with parent support. Parent must accompany child in the pool. (Min 4/Max 10)

SEA TURTLE Ages: Preschool (Ages 3-4)

Continue to develop your child's comfort in and around water. This level focuses on mastering front and back kick with instructor support, head submersion, feet-first jump and entering and exiting pool without assistance. (Min 3/Max 5)

STINGRAY

Ages: Level 1 (Ages 5+)

Continue to develop your child's comfort in and around water. This level focuses on mastering front and back kick with instructor support, feet-first jump, head submersion, entering and exiting pool without assistance and back float with instructor support. (Min 3/Max 6)

MARLIN Ages: Level 2 (Ages 5+)

This level will focus on mastering head and face submersion, front and back kick without support, and basic front and back crawl for those who are comfortable in the water and are ready to learn more independent swimming. (Min 3/Max 6)

WALRUS Ages: Level 3 (Ages 5+)

Further develop strokes and build basic technique and endurance. This level focuses on mastering submerging head and face without hesitation, front crawl with rhythmic breathing and basic front and back crawl. This class may spend time in water seven feet deep. (Min 3/Max 6)

DOLPHIN Ages: Level 4 (Ages 5+)

Perfect front stroke, backstroke and elementary backstroke and focus on mastering treading water for one minute and basic performance of breaststroke and sidestroke. This class spends time in water seven feet deep. (Min 3/Max 8)

SHARK Ages: Level 5 (Ages 5+)

This level focuses almost entirely on technique and preparation for swim team or fitness swimming. Students in this level have learned all strokes but need further assistance perfecting them and swimming more efficiently. Swimmers will focus on advancing in basic stroke skill, tread water for two minutes without using hands, retrieve brick from bottom of pool, flip turns, basic butterfly stroke, starts and entries. (Min 3/Max 8)
