How long have you worked at Myers Park Country Club? 4 ½ Years What is your role at MPCC? I am the Director of Events (i.e. your Club’s meeting & party planner!). I am here to assist you in planning business or social gatherings, from small group business meetings to large-scale elegant weddings. What is your favorite thing about the Club? I love planning weddings. Nothing is more fulfilling than helping a bride plan the most important day of their life, then being a part of the actual event is truly magical.

Tell us something fun about yourself: I met my husband Dave nine years ago at a Where’s Waldo costume party. I knew if he was willing to dress up in a silly costume, he was perfect for me! We have a daughter Lily who is 2.5 and a bit spunky and our sweet boy Bennett is 10 months old.

Are you looking for the perfect Valentine’s Day gift? We are thrilled to announce that Jill Sherman is joining our personal training team. Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Jill graduated from Queens in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science. While at Queens, she played forward on the field hockey team for 4 years, coached for Charlotte Ambush Field Hockey Club and worked the front desk at the Fitness Center. Jill is still coaching Ambush and now that she has earned her personal training certification, she is also working with her athletes one-on-one creating programs that make them happy, confident and strong.

Jill finds both personal and professional benefits from training all types of people whether they are elite athletes, high school athletes or players in the game of life.
