San Carlos de Bariloche Day Itinerary Guided fly fishing experience After a 45 minute drive from Bariloche, taking a NE direction, along different landscapes and views you will come to the Limay river, in the Nahuel Huapi National Park. The river runs through the typical Patagonian steppe, a dry area with picturesque volcanic rock formations but also through beautiful narrow canyons. In local language, Limay means “you can see through it”, for its absolutely clear waters. Limay is a wide, fast river, with its banks covered by willows that change color in March-April. Our expert local fishing guides and drift boats will aid in the fishing experience along this treacherous river. The day is complete with a picnic lunch and amazing views of Northern Patagonia.
