A NOTE FROM RPI PROMOTIONS

The decision to move your calves and sell them on the same week, same month every year seems like the easiest way to go. We all know this past year, things have not been the easiest. At this writing we have received our first shot of winter, and our first bunch of wet, heavy snow. Some cattlemen have made the decision to reschedule to a different sale day. Not easy, but a very important one on either side. Making the decision to change, whether it is when to sell you calves or moving to different genetics within your herd, can both be tough ones. There have been a large group of calves already sold and placed, in our region. If you have sold the year’s worth of beef from your ranch, you must now study the genetics, and need to weigh all the facts of what can produce more dollars for your ranch. We are blessed with some of the most sought after commercial and registered genetics throughout the country. Keep up the great job of raising the best tasting beef the consumer can place on their plate. Take a look through the pages of this November/December issue of the Cattlemen’s Invite. It’s easy to get through in a short time, and will not take you away from your busy schedule. See if these progressive cattlemen’s programs might fill the need and help you meet your goal of marketing your calves in a more profitable way. We are traveling the country visiting with many seed stock producers, and if you’re looking for a certain type and kind, give us a call. We would be glad to help. Thanks for your support, trust, and friendship.
