We are honored and feel the responsibility of being your Seed Stock Source. We will be selling, at the Ranch, 150 Bulls along with 50 bred and open females on February 10, 2018!

A NOTE FROM RPI PROMOTIONS
Welcome to 2018! We would have to call the completed 2017 year a success for a couple of reasons. Rain and big moisture areas were not far from our area here in Western South Dakota and cattle prices were better than we expected when we finished the fall calf and bred cattle sales. Our initial thought about 2017 is the fact that we “held it together!” After a rough, hard drop in cattle prices throughout 2016, this past year does make one feel somewhat better. Although drought and fires did take a toll on a number of ranches and farms in our coverage area, some were fortunate to get the rains they needed to make ends meet. We will need to be one of the fortunate areas to get spring rain in 2018. With keeping to a positive attitude, the cattle market did some climbing at times during the last three months of the year, that did benefit a number of cattle operations. There were some outstanding sales of registered cattle in our region this fall. It was nice to see a lot less indecision among the buyers this fall than in the fall of 2016. As this is being written, we are getting the first snow of winter here in my county. It is also the first official day of winter. We have not witnessed any measurable snow at our place, but we do have some now. After traveling the region on early sale herd visits and picturing cattle, we are very impressed with the quality that the breeders are presenting this coming year. As you look through this issue of the Cattlemen’s Invite you will have to agree that it looks like these prominent seedstock breeders have stepped it up a notch. We invite you to take advantage of the quality offered and buy the best breeding stock and replacement females you can, to get your program to the next level. Quality always sells. The crew at RPI Promotions is very fortunate to be able to work with outstanding ranching programs like what you see in this issue. Don’t hesitate to contact them with questions about their offering. We will be traveling throughout the country on herd visits and attending sales. If there is a certain type and kind you are looking for and need help finding the right cattle to move you forward in the business, give us a call, we might be able to help. We are always glad to visit about marketing your program!
Happy New Year, and we wish you the success to make it a great year. Thanks again for your support, trust and friendship.
