Happy Red Fish
The reason why I decided to do this artist is because I like the way she stiches on photos, I think it creates a really nice effect I also like how she uses loads of bright colours to give it a happy feel. I think it adds a lot more interest to the photos rather than being just landscapes or faces. Its a creative and fun way of drawing in the eye.
In my response ive taken a photo of the pier and then stiched onto it with the sunset in the backgroud my photo is of the pier stretching straight across and then there is a sunset behind the pier and then there is stiching in the sky.

The reason why I chose this artist is because I like the way she uses 2 or 3 photos to create one, it looks very effective and I like the way it can confuse the mind. I think it would work best with a dirty side of eastbourne.

I changed mine slightly by having the lines rugged because i think it made a better effect, I used about 4 different photos and used photoshop to edit them and make them into one. All photos were of different things but at the seafrount.

The reason why i decided to do this photographer because I like that he does amazing photography then uses good photoshop skills to make the photo more interesing and creates a good effect to the mind and can allow me to show off my photoshop skills.

This is my responce to Jasper James photography. I used my photos that I toke from all different view points along the seafront, to me it was vital I had the susent colour in the background to make it more interesting and colourful. I used photoshop to recreate these by cutting out a persons head shape and adding the same photo on top and changed the brightness to still have thr same landscape in the background.

Research for text.
This is my photos I toke of signs and posters in a different language. The reason why I chose a different language is because I think it looks more creative and draws more to the eye. On the next page are my responses to Hugonnier I have used two photos in the background and changed the opacity then used a different language to create a news type paper.

The reason why I chose this photographer is because i love the manipulation and I think its very interesting to look at and I like the way you have to look into the photo to see every inch of detail. I think the way she uses the white background makes every detail pop and stand out and it makes you concentrate on the full portrait and landscape.

In the photo above ive used photoshop to put a different picture inside the person but left the facial expressions of the person like Ivanova and i think it creates a better more postive and nicer effect of no facial features. I used a photo of the sunset and then merged it into the photo of the person I have feathered the sides of him out to merge with the white to make it more pleasing to the eye. I like the white background because it makes you focus on the person and the sunset.
Ed Ruscha The reason why i chose this photographer is because I like how bold the wriitn gis and how it is white, I like how its the main focus is thw riting and adds more interest into a plainish background/landscape. I also like how the quotes are quite personal.
MY RESPONSE
I used white bold writing to make it stand out and be the main focus of the photo. The colours in the background are light and around the same scheme which helps make the photos stand out. Also using a high apperture I
Clunie Reid
I chose this photographer because I like how there is randowm words and sentences over the picture. I like how the pictures have quite a freaky maybe danger vibe for the background and I would like to recreate that. Clunie reid prints and then writes on top of the photos. She tends to like the way she feels and she plays around with pictures and lauguage to make her final piece. She uses the language in response to the photo.
The reason why I used the photo in the background is because it shows a poor young boy which creates a devestating feeling. I also chose this one because it gave me a feeling of guilt when taking the photo this was because I was benefitting by making a photo benefitting on his loss of being poor or trying to make oney as he hasnt got a good life. The reason why i liked this photo is because we dont know the childs story, whats happened and what its going through and why he is trying to get money. It makes us ask so many questions and makes us think abou thow lucky we are. The reason why this relates to her photography is because in clunie reids photos there is a type of conflict or unappling matter. I then wrote in Greek and Arabic to respond to her pictures. -

Developed Ideas.
NICE POSTER.
This is one of my posters, to develope it I will use stiching relating to my research of Happy Red Fish which will enable me to get a higher grade. This will also make my work more interesting and pleasing to the eye using colours which go with the sunset. Marine Hugonnier and Aneta Ivanoa are the artists I have related to I have done this by using a arabic letter and also merging the sunset with the face. This is one of my nice posters.I have manipulated the photo by using both photos and joining them together.

Final Ideas
This is my one of my ‘nice’ final ideas I have stiched onto the photo in the corners and diamond shaped shape, I used photoshop to fill in the arabic letter. I chose arabic writing because I think its pleasing to the eye.
This is my response to my ‘dirty’ side of Eastbourne response. I have used photoshop to put the photo in the background then for mock refernece i will stich on to make it full complete manipulation to get the higher grade on this piece. The difference between my nice and dirty is not only the photos its also the way i did things. I did the nice one by cutting around the letter and sticking on the paper and also stiching to get the higher grade. The dirty one was done by cutting on photoshop and layering the photo underneath.
