Nice and Dirty By Jak Hafernik

Clifford Ross

Clifford Ross is a photographer That captures the waves on rough or windy days, I think he is trying to show how powerful and extreme nature is. By changing the photo to black and white i think it gives the photo more depth and volume which gives the photo a bigger impact on the viewer. He used the techniques of rule of thirds by having the 1st third of sea, the 2nd as the break and white of the wave and the 3rd of the sky.

I took this photo as a wave was crashing into the beach. It was quite hard to recreate cliffords work mainly becasue the sea was calm on the day when i took the picture. But by editing the picture to black and white it looks similer to Cliffords and i have used the stones to be the black part instead the belly of the wave which is used in Cliffords. He uses the camara techniques of rule of thirds and focus point which is the waves, stones and sky.

Myoung Ho Lee

Myoung has taken pictures with a rural background and placing either a large blank canvas or a womans dress which blends in to the background

I have recreated Myoungs work by changeing elements in foreground of the picture to blend in with the background of the photo.

Karina Eibatova

Karina has used backgrounds such as a corn field and purple and terquoise background instead of faces and to fill in surfaces. This effect allows you to imagine what the picture could look like without the patterns.

What i have tried to do and my idea behind it is that the outline of the tire is representing the face or rock and the pier and stones and sea will be eaihter the colours or corn field. I took my photo lying down on the stones and taking a photo through a tire to create a sort of natural bourder to the photo.

Aaron Huey

Aaron has taken a photo through some ladies glasses which means the face is squashed and distorted and slightly blurs and fades out the background. The camara techniques for this picture is foreground and background and also diagonal lines which are located on the top metal strip of the glasses.

In the photo i have taken, i have blured out the background to make the foreground focused. The background of my photo has diagonal lines in the groins and the curved shape of the bottle. I like this photo because water is a big part of Eastbourne and in my photo there are two types of water, which shows the two different views of Eastbourne.

Brendan George Ko Bredan has used text based images for his photographes because it puts images in yours head of somthing different to what the photo actually means. He eigther uses blured backgrounds or backgrounds through the view of a wet and rainy window. There is the rule of thirds technique in both photos by there being the background and the text then another background section.

I have recreated Brendans picture by bluring out the background and making the text bold and clear. i took my picture through a tire which gave it a natural circle frame.
