Willy Ronis I feel conflicted about Willy Ronis’ photograph. For one, I am in love with the blur on the right leg, suggesting movement in the model and creating a feeling of surreality throughout the photograph. I also do like the reflection in the water of what appears to be a stone piller, but I dislike the dull lack of contrast in the greys of the photograph. I feel like he could have attempted a much wider range.
Response
Two responses for Willy Ronis I have attempted to recreate the appearance of movement by overlapping two identical images of my leg, reducing the opacity of he latter and then shifting te position a little to the left. I have also made the photo black and white, but added a tint.
Giulia Marangoni She has used a pattern technique, a frontal viewpoint, framing of the photograph, a background, ruleof-thirds, some composition and a good focal technique.
Two responses for Giulia Marangoni I stood in front of my mirror and changed the camera to take an inward picture. I then
Olaf Olafson set a ten second timer and decreased the saturation and adjusted the lighting using PhotoShop.
I really like Olaf Olafson’s photograph. Not only is it an incredibly beautiful photograph, it is also thought-provoking. He has created a range of shadow and light on her skin from purely his camera angles. There is a very faint purple tint on the black and white, and he has also positioned the model to the left and her reflection to the right to compliment the left and right sides of the brain.

I took two pictures of myself; one in darkness and one against a white background. I also replicated the image of me, transparency and added a motion-blur effect. For the latter, adjusted the I also added a purple tint.
Tressie Davis She’s used a range of techniques, including; multi-focus points, rule-of-thirds, diagonal lines, direct viewpoint, framing of the photograph, cropping / filling the frame and excellent composition. I really like this.
Two responses for Tressie Davis I took two pictures of myself beside a mirror, changed them into black and

white and added a faint purple tint to it. I also added a strip of white on the first using PhotoShop.
I am quite taken by the reflection or silhouette in this photograph. There is a wide range of colours; ranging from the green of the background, the bright yellow of the lines and the different greys, reds and browns of the cement floor surface.
Two responses for Felicia Cheriz I stood beside the yellow line. I then edited a copy of my legs and changed the transparency. and added an effect. This gave the appearance of a reflection.
