With the social networks and new technologies, the magazine aims at openning the door to all these underground artists whose the talent just waiting to be put in front of the stage. Rock The Bells Tour BONE THUGS & HARMONY HOOK UP... “Bone’s Management was looking for a Texas based Hip Hop artist to be an official opener for the tour, so my manager Louie sent my music over and I guess my sound was a good fit. We were actually in the middle of booking dates for my “Space Jamz” Tour so we postponed a couple stops to knock this venture out first. I mean it’s not everyday you get an opportunity to share the stage with legends, this dudes have worked with the greatest of all time Biggie, Tupac, hell even Phil Collins. I have much respect for them so I had to do it.”
EXPECTATIONS... “I am already 5 shows deep in it and man its been the greatest experience of my music career thus far. The “Rock The Bells Tour” its a huge deal last year’s line up included everybody from Nas, Ice Cube, J.Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Too Short, E40, Asap Rocky, etc...& now for me to be etched in history with those names its an honor. Honestly I didn’t know what to expect, all I knew is I needed to prepared to rock the crowd and make my performance memorable. On the 3rd stop of the tour at The House of Blues which lined up perfectly in my home city of Dallas I brought the house down!!! it happened to be March 9th which was the anniversary of Biggie’s death so I paid my tribute and dropped Juicy and the crowd went nuts!!!! Then I followed it up with a record mine “Lucid Dreamz” which has a very similar feel to Juicy, it was a very high energy performance the magic was definitely in the building. Rest in peace to BIG. 5 sold out shows in a row so far and for me to be able to Rock The Bells with legends its a dream come true.” 16
ROCK THE BELL TOUR...“ The Tour goes on for over 30 cities in the states, and it actually ends in Europe. So far I only signed on for 6 stops, I have to honor my commitment to my fans on launching my “Space Jamz” Tour. But you never know with the right scheduling more Rock The Bells stops could definitely happen.”-BOOME For our readers, where do you come from? Where were you born? My hometown is Marietta, Ga about 15 minutes north of Atlanta, Ga. But I currently live in Dallas, Tx. Who was Boome as a kid? Boome as a kid was a very sporty kid like a lot of other kids played football and basketball with friends in the neighborhood. My mom said I would always try to be the leader of the crew, she thought it was funny. Thing is I wasn’t trying to be the leader I would just show so much passion in what I liked that my friends would agree it was the thing to do. How did you get into music when you were younger? That special time you discovered your talent? I got into music when I was younger when my mom bought my older brother this little yamaha keyboard. He picked it up and learned to play it in like a week I started to mess with it but was no good at it, but I always had a passion for writing I even enjoyed writing school papers. So I guess my passion for writing finally met my brothers passion for music. My teen years I think I discovered I had personality way before my music talent kicked in. I think I realized I had something when I was at this party and I free style battled this kid because he was picking on this other kid. He was rapping on some gangsta shit, so I think I said something like “You rapping about crack and pills, nigga you 16 mommy and daddy still pay your bills” the party went crazy!!! Funny my young corny bars, but I was no lyricist then I was 16 years old and just stating the obvious and the crowd went crazy. That moment was kind of magical I guess, specially for a 16 year old. Boome & The Skywalkers... Is it a duo? A crew? A movement? Tell us more... Boome & The Skywalkers is not a group, we don’t sit in the studio together and come up with boy band anthems, lol. I am a solo artist and The Skywalker thing it’s a movement, the Skywalkers consists of me, 3D my main producer & Billy C my official DJ. Being a Skywalker
its a way of life and we all represent different aspects of the spectrum. Fly free, live free, and die free!!! Skywalkers!! The “Skydayz Tour” (2012)... What incredible adventure! How did you build that project? Who is the team behind you? The Sky Dayz Tour 2012 man those were good times, 36 tiring but amazing days on the road Hollywood, Atlanta, New York, Phoenix, Dallas, etc... That tour gave us a national platform to stand on, I was very proud of that run we booked all of our shows, appearances, and radio interviews on our own and It was a complete success. My Skywalker team is the engine for everything we do. Being on the road nationally to perform your art...I guess it was a dream that turnt into reality for you? Yes being on the road nationally was a dream come true, but I think touring is very key specially for independent artist. You spend months recording an album and when that process is done, I feel like you have to take it everywhere you can. I could be the greatest artist in the world, but I have to spread my sound for the people to know that. So speaking of tours I am hitting the road with major legends Bone Thugs -N- Harmony for the “Rock The Bells” Tour super exciting stuff, I get to open up for one of favorite all time Hip Hop groups.

Describe your music in three words and explain... Underdog, Futuristic, Timeless- these 3 words describe my music, I feel like I am telling a true underdog story Ive heard no so many times in my music career whether it was the radio station, record labels, music networks, etc..I never got down on my self I always understood that those blockades and disappointments were necessary for me to tell the greatest story ever told. In the creation process my end vision is always for the record to be timeless, for my music to be relevant 10 years from now and beyond. So I don’t write for today, I vision all the tomorrow’s. Who is your public? I mean your music sounds very different from classic “radio” hip hop... With clichés... You have a very refreshing touch. What does your music target? My fan base consists of the American Rejects, the underdogs, the souls that people try to throw away. The people that never get a chance at a fair run, I represent their voice because it’s hidden. Hopefully with me representing them they can channel the inner strength to speak out for better changes. I will bully the bully, I speak for righteousness and freedom of individuality. What is your opinion about the current state of hip hop nowadays? Current State of Hip Hop: I feel like Hip Hop is slowly making a come back to good music. I still feel like the DJ’s and Radio stations put the industry in the bad state it was in. The days of street DJ’s and program directors playing records because they like it are over. It’s a full business what’s in it for them is there main concern which is a pretty pathetic reality. So I choose not to deal with that side of it, I am representative of the people I make music to uplift the person that feels like they’re nothing. I don’t make records hoping the radio station will play them, I don’t give fuck about them I care about the people and nobody stands between me and the people.

Is there too much violence in Hip hop? Too much violence in Hip Hop: I don’t think there’s too much violence in hip hop I just think there is not enough unity. There’s just as much violence in heavy metal and alternative rock. Music is expression of self, so if I am angry that emotion should transpire into the music. It’s positive release therapy, if we’re talking physical violence like hip hop artist harming each other now that’s a different story. I think for the most part we as a people in hip hop are rebel souls, and I think at times we point that rebellious nature the wrong way. We should be using our mass followings to make the changes that we complain about everyday. Hip hop has the biggest impact on pop culture, we should have already came out with our version of “We are The World”.

What is your message for kids...those young Hip Hop addict!? My message for kids the hip hop addicts: P.Diddy said “don’t chase the money, chase the dream”. Don’t come in with dreams of wealth, come in with the purpose to make a difference. At the end of this I want my name mentioned in same breath as the greats Jimy Hendrix, Bob Marley, Tupac, Jay Z, etc...It’s simple strive to leave your mark and make history.

What are your dreams? Do you live from your music? My dreams? I am presently living out all my dreams, at the end of this road I know I will have no regrets because I gave it everything I had every single moment. My music defines me a 100% it’s the official soundtrack to my life. I think a lot people have big dreams, but they never had the discipline to put an action plan together. I think regret is the cousin of laziness. The only person that can stop my drive for this massive dream of mine is me. The Jimy record was huge for me not only to the people, but it did a lot for me inside. I wrote this record when I was feeling frustrated about music career, I felt underrated and overlooked. So the Jimy record was the powerful scream from an underdog, if you’re not chasing your dreams then you gotta ask yourself what are you really doing?
Space Jamz Mixtape. I went in the studio with the mentality of making the best mixtape of 2013, the feedback has not proved me wrong yet. The downloads are soaring to be blockbuster numbers which is great momentum for us. Also to be the official opener on The “Rock The Bells Tour” with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is a huge honor. I am the freshest artist of 2013 because I committed to giving hip hop a face lift, a fresh sound, a new face. This is the year of the underdog, and I just came to tell my fans the greatest story ever told. Currently in the kitchen cooking up my new album “Citizen Kane” no release date set yet it’s gonna be huge!!!! a couple surprise guest appearances from my 2 favorite rappers so cant wait “Citizen Kane”.

Your first hip hop krush? > I was born and raised in the North Philly section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. North Philly is the largest section of Philadelphia and is home to famous rappers, numerous athletes and growing up it was a hot bed for the drug culture in America. North Philly though, despite the dangerous streets is home. It is a place that made me who I am and provided me with everything I needed to take on the world. I grew up on the streets of 8th & Diamond, 7th & Huntingdon and 7th & York. Between the playgrounds of Nelson, Hartranft and 8th & Diamond I started to hone my skills as an athlete which indelibly leads you to hip hop. As the two are intertwined like a couple of brothers. I was raised on a heavy dose of Public Enemy, Tribe Called Quest, GangStarr, Big Daddy Cane and Eric B. & Rakim. I came into my own though with the emergence of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. Being an east coast cat though, the Bad Boy sound captured my ear and completely mad my fall in love with music in a way that I had never felt before. As an upcoming R&B artist, once I heard 112 and Usher with that Bad Boy sound behind them I knew in that moment exactly what and how I needed to do to climb the musical mountain top. That is a big part of the origin of how I got here. 26

Krazy story> Easily for me the most incredible thing to happen to me was to have the opportunity to go to college. Coming from the inner city and making it through that jungle to arrive on a college campus, felt like I had done something that most cats would never have the opportunity to take advantage of in life. I felt like I owed myself, my family but also my hood to not only go to school but to prove that I belonged and to excel. They always have something negative to say about us young black men that come from the inner city as if we can only hoop, score touchdowns or perform. I wanted to add college graduate to that list, and I did! It changed me as I was able to see the world and meet people from so many different places. I learned that there is a world outside of my neighborhood. Also it helped me with my music as the students there became my first true fan base. Performing on campus recording with people from different regions of the country, not only gave me confidence but it sharpened my skills in all areas. Lastly, it was a real taste of straight competition, which I thrive when the competition is good.

Why are you the next Hip Hop fan’s KRUSH?> To put it simply I have next because I have the talent, team and timing needed to deliver great music that R&B fans have been yearning for. My dreams are to live at the top of the billboard charts, continually inspire current and new fans, all while being known as the R&B artist that always delivers! The biggest reason I feel I am different from the masses is that I create hot albums and not just hot singles. If you focus on the album than you will get great singles but focusing just on a single does not generate a hot album. All Progress, no recess! FIRST HIPHOP KRUSH> Louismiles is a young American hip-hop duo born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. The Duo includes Rome and Kizz. The name, Louismiles, Is something that is very meaningful for the two. Louismiles means “we are taking our music from St. Louis, Mo and taking it miles and miles around and from the city.” The first time we fell in love with hip hop for both of us had to be as a child growing up. Kizz: The first time I feel in love with hip-hop was when my brother had bought the single by bone thugs n harmony “first of the month” I fell in love with that song and ever since then I’ve been a fan of hip-hop. Rome: The first time I fell in love with Hip-hop I was 6 years old and my dad was an inspiring DJ. 30
I use to listen and watch him practice at home, and I use to love to recite the lyrics and dance to the records. KRAZY STORY> The first time we went to New York we thought we would get a record deal. We came prepared and practiced for months, and a business consultant of ours took us around two different individuals in the industry to see what they thought of us and every last one of them said we weren’t ready, nor polished enough for the “Big Stage” so we came back to St. Louis, Mo and recreated our music, image, and sound. That motivated us to really go harder, with what we love to do. Projects for 2013> Rome: “well at the beginning of this year (Jan 8th) we just dropped our new debut Mixtape
