Where do you come from & how did you get into music? I’m from the UK and live in a place called Leeds in the north of England. I’ve been musical all my life, however I really started getting into music in the mid to late 90’s when I started producing. I’ve always produced Hip Hop however I also love Electro and House music so I developed those three styles specifically and frequently fused them together. Whatever I create musically, I always try and make it different and as original as possible with the aim of stimulating the thoughts and emotions of the listener in new ways. After a six year break from music I started recording with a fellow emcee and very good friend of mine who goes by the alias ‘Firus Phonics’. It was him that stimulated my mind through his music to go down the path of creating conscious hip hop using esoteric theologies
this, it gives birth to originality and expansion of thought. I think the abstract idea has been the protagonist in the many great artistic movements throughout the ages and has assisted humanity in viewing the world through different eyes so to speak. There is a lack of « creative concepts » nowadays in Hip Hop... What is your opinion about it? I have to say that I agree with the question and it saddens me that there is such a lack of creative and original ideas in music nowadays. My honest opinion is that through the occupation of large corporations in the mainstream music arena, art has become bastardized and distorted by the greed of major labels which has in turn created a vacuous, money orientated, over sexualized medium for the corporations to manipu-
(Project 7) being a mind controlled assassin with supernatural abilities created by a government ‘Black Operations’ program, so I wanted ‘Mind Control’ to be an introduction to the character as a whole. The idea for the beats were based around wanting to create a ‘Public Enemy’ kind of sound so I used old school drum patterns and trumpet stabs before layering some complex melodies, synthesizer and base into the track to bring it up to date. Lyrically there are some powerful messages. I’d also combined many metaphysical concepts later on in the track to give it a conscious lift so to speak. I don’t usually like to spell out what I’m saying in my songs as I prefer to allow each person that listens to gain their own understanding of it. But I will say that people should listen to the words closely and if there are things that they don’t understand then make a conscious effort to research certain words or
“In the past I have been a very selfish and agitated person which I guess has something to do with the turbulent life I have lead. Since going through a major change which was both painful and enlightening I have done a complete 360 degree turn in terms of where I want my life to go...” as its basis. I need to take this opportunity to thank Firus for reigniting the spark of creativity within me and guiding me on my path. Much love brother. Before talking about music, we would like to know what is your definition of art? Art is of course subjective to each individual. However if I were to summarize how I see art then I would say that creativity is an intrinsic part of human nature and its purpose is to bring forth representations of the things we experience through the senses. Art is also an inner expression and comprises of a myriad of complex emotions that each one of us possesses. I’m specifically into abstract ideas as I see these concepts as a complete overhaul of the standardized concepts that we are used to, and through 22
late and influence people into buying into their enterprises. Not only that, it clearly has been recognized that music is a massively influential force unto our societies, so therefore if you control that force then you ultimately get to dictate the effect which it has over the people. Most individuals emulate what they see, so if the stimulus provided is base level, superficial and lacking thought, imagination and intelligence then people naturally become a product of that which is obviously very good for the corporations. First, we want to talk about the «MIND CONTROL» video. Where did you find the inspiration to write this song? ‘Mind Control’ was the very first track I’d produced after my six year break from music. I’d already conjured up the idea of MK-ULTRA
phrases used. I promise you it will really expand your mind. We filmed ‘Mind Control’ in an old mill that’s an exact replica of the temple at ‘Edfu’ in Egypt which is dedicated the falcon god Horus. We also filmed some of the video at a place called ‘Castle Hill’ where there’s an ancient fort that was built around 555BC. We shot the scenes at the fort on the ‘super moon’ when the moon is at its closest transit to the earth. The locations were chosen by the director ‘Ashley Karrell’ who was unaware of the esoteric concepts, especially the Egyptian ideas that I was interested in bringing into the music so it was a rather strange synchronicity that he’d chosen those specific locations. How did you come up with the idea of styling your alter ego MK-ULTRA?
I based ‘MK-ULTRA’ around various ideas and styled him in such a way as to create an imposing image that would grab people’s attention. I compiled a series of reference pictures in order to present a visual representation of the character and how I wanted him to appear. I’d referenced such comic book heroes and villains such as ‘the Joker’ and ‘the Crow’ before fusing a partial rock and gothic influence with the leather jacket, black pants and the black hood. There is a skull theme that runs throughout the image and appears namely in the contacts that I wear, on my t-shirt, and the sliver chain around my neck. This is in reference to the Egyptian god ‘Osiris’ whom was the god of the afterlife and death. He was depicted as a green skinned man which is where the green makeup around MK-ULTRA’s mouth was inspired. My makeup artist Justyna Stawida came up with the final look of the character in terms of the makeup
of the utmost importance that music is conveyed with thought and integrity as it affects the way that people think and act. We only have to look at the current trends in commercial music and how it has successfully dumbed down large portions of our society through idol worship, materialization and over sexualisation. I don’t want to sound like a kill joy as we all like a little escapism and to exercise our carnal nature however I see a serious lack of integrity in a lot of music nowadays. How did you hook up with the talented Ashley Karrell? I’ve known Ashley Karrell for a long time. We used to work together in a cocktail bar when we were in our late teens, early twenties. Ash knew me when I was making Electro music and went under the alias ‘Kid Electro’. He’s always believed that I had talent and that I should pursue a
Tell us about the hand gestures that you use in your videos and photography? The hand gestures that I use are from something called the ‘Kuji Kiri’ or ‘9 seals’ which is an ancient Japanese practice used by Ninja, monks, Chinese Buddhists and is still used to present day. In brief the philosophy behind the Kuji Kiri is to cut through the illusion of ‘reality’ and to summon forth energies that activate the higher faculties of the practitioner which allows them to supersede certain intrinsic restrictions which bind us into the ‘real world’ so to speak. For the Ninja this was said to activate higher perception and intuition and would also enhance physical, mental and spiritual abilities. I mostly use the hand symbol ‘Zai’ which is symbolic of creation and the four elements coming together with the fifth element which is the soul, forming the central pyramid like structure made with the thumb and forefingers.
“The novel will be part of a trilogy and as it stands there is no certain date to the release as yet. However in the meantime I will be releasing a short comic book series which will focus on excerpts from the novel so the fans can download it directly from my website”
which ultimately brought together all of the influences that I’d had in mind. Justyna is a great artist and we have become very good friends as a result of our work together and she has really assisted in bringing my idea to life. What is « Conscious Hip Hop »? ‘Conscious Hip Hop’ is when an MC rhymes on a more conscious level to stimulate the listener in new ways. It is none superficial and engages the higher faculties into thinking about things differently. We become more conscious through learning or searching inwardly for answers, so conscious hip hop is the antagonist for such modes that stimulate growth in an individual as they are receiving nourishment from the music as opposed to toxicity. As I’d mentioned earlier, music is a very powerful force and influences so much of our lives so it is
career in music however back then I didn’t have as much self belief and confidence as I do now. Myself and Ashley lost touch for many years, however after creating the MK-ULTRA project I bumped into him in a bar in town which is where we reconnected and started working in tandem to bring this idea to life. Ash has an almost supernatural ability to connect with me and interpret my visions into moving images. He has been the backbone of this project and offers a great wealth of creativity and practical knowledge of film, photography and directing. Ashley has been working on his photographic art book and exhibition entitled ‘Expression of You-The Divine Feminine’. The project will be released into the world at the end of Sept 2013. I definitely urge the readers to check him out at www.expressionofyou.net
I see occult symbolism being used a lot in the mainstream pop industry. It seems to be encouraged, and there are clear gestures that repeat themselves right across the board in the mainstream which shows this is by design and not by mistake. Bizarrely, many of the hand gestures which are used actually derive from ‘Satanism’ or ‘Black Magick’ which is very concerning. Many of these gestures go unnoticed as people are not generally versed in symbolism and the meanings behind them. However, I am as a result of my interest and study into the more positive aspects of these practices. Symbolism is the language of the subconscious mind, so even if the conscious mind doesn’t cognitively understand its meaning the symbol will still have an effect over the subconscious so it is believed. 23
“The ‘MK-ULTRA’ graphic novel is an extension of the music and aims to expand on the complex story that I have created.” Can you introduce your creative project « MK-ULTRA graphic novel? The ‘MK-ULTRA’ graphic novel is an extension of the music and aims to expand on the complex story that I have created. The graphic novel is actually more of a book than it is graphic as I wanted to combine the two mediums together to create something that had both great literature and amazing artwork to deliver an alternative stimulus to the reader. The novel is based around my character ‘MK-ULTRA’ that is otherwise known as ‘Project 7’. He was created in a covert mind control program lead by Nazi psychoanalysts who were brought to the US by the CIA after WW II. The aim of the program was to create a subject that was completely programmable and would carry out the bidding of the handler against their own will. Project 7 was part of a super soldier program and was created by fusing human and extraterrestrial DNA. Through his unique origins the scientists discovered that Project 7 had enhanced physical and mental abilities. They also discovered that he possessed supernatural abilities including telekinesis, psychic abilities, pyrokenesis, remote viewing and so on. This was seen as a great advantage to his handlers who were part of a secret ‘Luciferian’ cabal competing against other globalist factions over control of the planet and humanity. Project 24
7 was used as an assassin to eliminate members of opposing factions and to scare them into submission. He is seen as the most dangerous and valuable commodity on the planet and when he escapes after developing the ability of free will he vows to seek revenge on the cabal that created him by exposing the ‘MK-ULTRA’ program and their plans for global control to the world. I work with the very talented illustrator ‘Joshua Chinsky’ on this project. His artistic abilities really assist me in bringing this idea to life. The readers can check Josh’s work out at www.joshuachinsky.com How did your fans welcome & support the idea of the novel? People have been very supportive and interested in this area of my work so far as it touches on so many issues within our current society. The ‘MK-ULTRA’ program is actually a very real thing that occurred and is not just a product of my imagination. I definitely urge people to look into this if they have not already done so. The novel will be part of a trilogy and as it stands there is no certain date to the release as yet. However in the meantime I will be releasing a short comic book series which will focus on excerpts from the novel so the fans can download it directly from my website
www.mk-ultra777.com. The comic strips will be released at the end of this year to early next and will continue as a quarterly publication. Tell us about ‘Project 7’. Who is he and how does he fit into your concept? Project 7 and MK-ULTRA is actually the same person. Due to the programming which is necessary to create what is known as a ‘multiple’ the subject develops ‘dissociative behavioural disorder’ (DBD) which essentially creates multiple personalities. Each personality can then be programmed with different information and characteristics which can be activated by the handler at any time by using certain triggers. Each personality is completely unaware of the others so that one character can be brought forward to carry out a certain function and then be switched with another very easily. When Project 7 gains the ability of free will his personalities begin to merge and take on a form of their own. MK-ULTRA is Project 7’s darker side or his ego one might say. He would appear to Project 7 as an apparition or hallucination and advice him to seek revenge or plan an escape when necessary. Before long the two characters merged so that Project 7 would change his appearance to look like MK-ULTRA when seeking to carry out more dark and sinister activities such as elimi-
nating certain characters within the globalist cabal. The two characters are both one and the same however they’re polar opposites in terms of their function and intent. It is not until Project 7 learns to balance these two forces that he really unlocks his true potential. I don’t want to give away too much at this stage so I will stop there. However, rest assured that this story has multiple layers so the readers will continue to discover many facets of the concept as they delve deeper into the story. If the readers would like to ask any questions they can contact me directly on my website www.mk-ultra777.com and I will be happy to answer them.
Other projects that I have featured on are namely the official ‘Ghostface Killah’ mix-tape. I had my picture appear on the front cover next to Ghost which was a real perk I have to say. The readers can download the mix-tape for free on my website www.mk-ultra777.com. I’m also featuring on the upcoming ‘Eminem Vs 50 Cent’ mix-tape which will be released this summer I believe. Again the readers can get details on how to access the tape from my site. There are some great upcoming opportunities later in the year as I will be appearing on a mainstream TV show here in the UK called ‘The Nu’. The show will be an MK-ULTRA behind the scenes special on location at my next video shoot. Any highlights so far in your career? There will be live performances, interviews and I’d say there have been quite a few highlights special guests to be revealed when the show is so far. I’d like to mention that this particular aired to a potential audience of up to 13 million. project is still very young and although I have achieved so much in just under a year of begin- Rapper, Writer, Producer & Businessman as ning the idea there is so much more to come. well! In terms of creating the
story I spent 3-4 years researching the MK-ULTRA and Monarch program, government black operations, ancient theology, psychology, symbolism, the occult, insider testimonies, victims of satanic abuse, mind control survivors, global economic & geopolitical corruption, monarchs and ancient bloodlines, secret societies, luciferian cults in high society, quantum physics, interdimensional phenomena, sacred geometry and a great deal of other material which would be too much to even mention. I also have a business, a wonderful partner and two beautiful children who’ve been very understanding throughout this process so I would like to thank them all for their patience and support and to say that I love them very much. Who is the real MK-ULTRA as a man? I’m aware that a person’s view of them self is often biased or jaded in some way so I’ll try and be as honest as I can. I’m a pretty complex person I would say. Eccentric in many ways which I guess comes across in my art. I’m a very kind and empathic person and prefer my friendships to exist on a deeper level so I really get to experience an individual for whom and what they are. I tend to be very excepting of people and their personalities and feel that judgement only obscures you from receiving valuable lessons.

“I’m very philosophical and appreciate intellectual conversation however I am also very playful and have a quirky sense of humour which can often cause impromptu outbursts of a somewhat controversial nature at times.” I am very polite and respectful of others which I feel is a very important characteristic to have. However I can be hot headed and prone to mood swings if I feel that I am being disrespected by people. My temper is definitely something I have to work on I feel. I’d say at this stage in my life I am working on developing myself and for me it is important to seek enlightenment and self realization through study, self expression, internalization and living with a strong moral code and integrity. I’m very philosophical and appreciate intellectual conversation however I am also very playful and have a quirky sense of humour which can often cause impromptu outbursts of a somewhat controversial nature at times. My close friends will tell you that I am very unpredictable and can be intense at times. However I feel that this is a part of my nature and my intenseness is aN expression of the passion and focus I put into my work. Lastly I would say that I am merely a human being with human imperfections and that it’s okay for me to accept that and I don’t feel overly pressurized to appear or be something that I’m not. Indeed the media put so much energy into making people believe that they are not good enough as this greatly supports their industry into whatever unnecessary thing they’re trying to sell us. I feel it’s of the utmost importance that we all find peace with ourselves and be confident and content with who we are.
What are your future projects for this year? I have various projects for this year so I’ll go ahead and speak about them and also provide links for the artists that I am going to be working with so the readers can check them out individually. Firstly I will be working with a Trap and Dubstep producer from Las Vegas who goes by the alias ‘Messinian’. He’ll be remixing one of the tracks on the EP which is entitled ‘Snake in Disguise’ which will be released as a single later on in the year. You can check Messinian out here: https://www.facebook.com/MessinianMusic I’m looking to do a collaboration with either ‘TECH N9NE’ or ‘R.A. the Ruggedman’ through my label Brikaza. I really want to work with them both so I may release two separate singles with each of these legendary MC’s. Myself and Brikaza are still in negotiations regarding this so no definitive time for this to take place is known at this time, however all details will be available on my website: www.mk-ultra777.com I’m also going to be working with UK MC ‘Big Dutty Deez’ later in the year. I’ve invited him to appear as a special guest on the TV show that I’ll be doing later in the year and collaboration is
also in the pipeline. You can check Big Dutty Deez out here: www.bigdutty.com . ‘Terri Shaltiel’ a Funk, Soul, Blues, Contemporary R&B and Jazz singer will be joining MK-ULTRA/ Project 7 and Em Brulèe on some of our future projects to add an extra dimension to the music. Terri is also a very talented guitarist so we will be doing some acoustic versions of our tracks as well as new material. You can check Terri Shaltiel out here: www.terrishaltiel.net I and Em Brulèe will be working on more music together with further releases to be announced on the website later in the year. The last two tracks on the EP are an example of the kind of sound we are working on, however we will also be putting out some dirtier, heavier music with my more niche sound which seems to go down well with the fans. As before mentioned, I and Em Brulèe will most definitely be more of a package as the project progresses. You can check Em Brulèe out here: www.embrulee.co.uk
Through your art, what do you try to accomplish? My ultimate aim is to encourage free thinking and personal expression based on one’s own innovation as opposed to what we are told to think, act and feel by the mainstream media. My motto is ‘Free Your Mind’ which aims to express a real necessity for our society to apply itself into areas of personal exploration, study, truth seeking and re-establishing the broken bridges which have divided our society for so long. In the world of today there is a theatre of distractions, propaganda and brainwashing which is pedalled by the mega corporations who have so much invested into controlling every avenue of our input in terms of news, music, fashion, film and so much more has to be challenged and dissected with a critical mind as to understand the overall agenda of such centralization of power and influence, rather than just accepting this as the ‘status quo’. My art is an expression of so many real life issues and occurrences that should most definitely should be looked at by people on an individual basis as a means to ascertain certain areas that may have been overlooked in and amongst of all of background noise and circus that seems to be so prevalent in our lives.
has originality, depth, vision and integrity. My EP ‘Unholy War’ is released today so if you feel inspired to listen to my music and hear what I have to say then go to my website and download ‘UW’ which is the prequel to the ‘Bread & Circus’ album. Without the faith and support of the fans we artists cannot continue to do what we do. In present day it is so difficult to cut through the fog created by the mainstream media and TV talent shows that we need people that desire a more meaningful experience to support us on our quest. Furthermore I’d like to put my money where my mouth is and create an ‘ARK’ which stands for ‘A Random Act of Kindness’ and donate 20p of every EP sale to feeding the homeless people in my home town. I will pledge to personally go out onto the streets of Leeds dressed as MK-ULTRA and hand out food and drinks to the homeless. We will film the entire thing and post the video on YouTube and on my website towards the end of this year for people to see. I am not seeking attention or to exploit individuals I am merely aiming to set a positive example and hopefully inspire others to do the same. From myself, MK-ULTRA and Project 7 we hope everyone finds what it is that they’re searching for and allow themselves to truly be at peace, and be the best that they can be. FREE YOUR MIND 777.... “2013 is looking beautiful so far man. I just dropped my second video. Getting ready to film the 3rd and waiting for the mix and mastered versions of every song to come back for my album. My audio engineer working hard right now. We should be releasing the album late this year of 2013. It will be available all over Itunes, google play, amazon, etc. Also we are going to be releasing some merchandise as well as a new website for my fans. They been asking for a while now so i think its time. haha”
Where do you come from? I’m from the West Coast. North West to be exact. I was born in Moses Lake, Wa and lived in an area called “The Base” then I moved to Yakima, Wa and grew up on south 6th St.. The neighborhood we lived in was predominantly Latinos and Blacks. It was and still is the rough part of my city, but i love it. My grandma still lives there actually. My pops caught a case when i was a kid and he served a 12 year bid. Moms did it on her own for the most part, it was tough growing up man, but my mom always held us down. And my pops did what he could while he was incarcerated. But while you’re locked down there is only so much you can do. I respect them both for it though. And appreciate it everything. When did you fall in love with hip-hop? The first time i fell in love with hip-hop was the early 90’s man. Well i was born in 88 but my whole life its been about hip-hop. The first record though that really comes to mind had to have been “Warren G- Regulators” i think that was 94 or 95 man i was like seven years old. haha! we were sitting outside in front of my cousins house sweatin bad, because it was mad hot outside that day. Like 103 degrees. And my uncle pulled up bumpin it in his lowrider. He was like 19 at the time. I still remember hearing Nate-Doggs voice for the first time. And how sick it sounded with that beat. R.I.P. to the big homie Nate-Dogg by the way.But yea man from that moment on i felt 32
hip-hop baselines in my heart beat. The snare in my pulse. And the sounds in my head. It changed my life forever bro. Started spittin my own rhymes right after that. Krazy street story? A:The craziest story i have actually has to do with hip-hop. I was involved in a hip-hop competition. At the time i was in a group with some family members. i was 16 at the time. And making straight hood music man. So we were at this show and we rocked it man, but mid way through our second performance (Round Two) the sound man turned off our mics. So mid way through the song until the end there was no vocals coming out of our mics. That made us mad. So we got into an argument with the sound man and his crew, they were also competing. And the argument escalated to a fight. And i mean a huge brawl bro. It was bad. Anyway we all got searched before we entered the club. Metal detectors and all that. But them cats were part of the team that were hosting the show so they didn’t get checked. So, in the middle of the fight all of a sudden my boys start dropping. And my boys were soldiers man, i never seen any of em get dropped. But they weren’t getting knocked out, they were getting shanked man (stabbed) and it was crazy. so the fight moved outside and we still fighting man and more of my people are getting shanked and at that time in my life I wasn’t afraid of anything man. Not that i am now, but i’m older now. I have values.
I know how to pick and choose my battles. I’m not young and dumb and hot tempered like used to be. Anyway, long story short I got shanked to man. Cops showed up. i got tasered after i got stabbed and then after the cop realized i was bleeding all over he had me picked up by an ambulance and sent to the hospital. I passed out on the way to the hospital man. Woke up a few hours later to my moms and little brothers voice. The hospital security didn’t give them any info about me and wouldn’t tell them if i was there or even ok. Finally, hours later, they let them in and thats when i woke up to them crying. That was a horrible feeling man. Seeing the pain in my mom and little brothers eyes. Turns out all the member of my crew were shanked. Some worse than others. We all spent a few days in the hospital man, but thankfully no one passed away. That experience changed me a lot man. I was sixteen. And the first time i got shanked was below the lower part of my ear. The Dr said had it been a couple more centimeters it would’ve hit my main artery. And i would have bled to death on the spot. There would’ve been nothing they could have done for me. But even after that man i couldn’t put the mic down. And i haven’t put it down since. Matter of fact i hold it even tighter in my hand now. And go twice as hard. Thats why i feel like i’m here for this music man. I could’ve lost my life doing this, but i didn’t. I’m still here. http://twitter.com/king_sinz
