Native Americans The Native American Society Da`Nesha Miller: The Native Americans believed that there was a god. They ate crackers and drank wine or grape juice believing they were eating the sons body and drank his blood. They were quite peaceful but would do anything to protect their property. They would fight fiercely to protect their fields. Indians perceive a spirit in every animal or rock. They are simultaneously admitting their own loss of deep spiritual relationship with the earth. Some of the americans were really strong in their religion. They believed that they would live on forever after they died. The native americans believed that they were never alone. They believed that there was spritis in the plant and animals.

The Native American Government Martin Martinez: Union tried having 10 or 12 English colonies build. They tried having colonies build but the Iriquois had rejected the plan. Iroquois league stood before colonies to tell them how to govern themselves. They gave the colonies lesson on how to govern a large domain democratically Iroquois wearied that something was going to happen so they join with the colonies similar to the league. English colonies join with the Iroquois to make a league similar to the other league. It’s possible that historians argued whether or not the Indians’ ideas influenced the democracy in a more direct manner. In recent years historians have debated whether Indian ideas may also have influenced our democracy more directly.

The Native American Innovation Cathryn Leiter: The Indians had more rich soil that we had Indian farmers in some tribes drew two or three times as much nourishment that we do. Europeans were now living among the Indians. They lived for several years in distant provinces, near and among the Indians. They found how to use plants to help relieve pain. They had now understanding of how certain plants can be used to reduce pain. The native americans came up with different way to make food. They were able to make cornbread, grits, greens, and hush puppies. The Native Americans influenced the U.S. and the Europeans. United states, and Europe, too, has been influenced by Native American as well as European ideas.

West Africa West African Society Da`Nesha Miller: West africa was isolated (geographically) from Europe and Asia. They still associated with others. West africa has been long connected with the “wider world” through trade.for quite some time the method of trading has brought a lot of new things. new goods, new ideas, and new religions and or beliefs are some of the things were brought to west africa. These religions and beliefs included those of islam. In mid-1400 W. Africa began to interact more with the world when the European traders arrived to the W. African coast.

West African Government

Martin Martinez: First of all leaders were in charge because of their religion. Leaders claimed authority based on religion. Second of all the oldest person in the family was in charge. The oldest living descendent of the group common ancestor controlled family members and represented them in council. Lastly If you would be planting crops in a land its yours but when you are not, it can be used by anyone in the village. No one really has ownership of the land unless they are planting crops in it. In conclusion authority is clamied through religion and your age rank, also no one really owns there on land unless they are planting.

West African Innovation Cathryn Leiter: West Africans and Europeans didn't know much of each other. Frist of all when west africans founded the trade routes it made things a lot easier. The west africans and europeans started to get to know each other more in the 1400s. Second of all with the west africans they knew a lot so they could do things with what they knew. They were able to find a way to build cities and have other people run it for them. Last of all the people of kongo were able to use iron and make war weapons with it. They made really well-wrought tools and weapons that were strong. Therefore the west africans were able to make trade easier and good weapons to use.

Europeans European Society Da`Nesha Miller: European communities are based on social hierarchy. The communities are organized depending on their “rank”. If you were a monarch or a noble, then you would be at the top of the social pyrimid. Most people weren’t all at the top, some were in the middle. In order to be in the

middle you would have to be a member of the church chairmen. Those of lesser value to society would be last on the social pyrimid. Laborers and peasants would be at the bottom.

European Government Martin Martinez: First of all the european community was based on social hierachy. Its where they have classes the church at top the nobles in the middle and the peasants are at the bottom. Second of all the crusades were taking control over the church. They were declining the power of the pope. Lastly there was a movement called reformation. That’s when they divided christianity in western europe between catholicism and protestantism. In Conclusion the government controls everything in europe.

European Innovation Cathryn Leiter: The Europeans thought that if they knew more than they could find new ways to do things. First of all with the Europeans knowing more it helped them when it came to war. They were able to make bigger guns and learned to mount them on ships around 1400. Secondly with them learning how to make bigger guns it made the military stonger. Other Nations in Asia and Africa fell prey to the Europeans arms. Last of all from the 1400s on the west was jealous over the others military technology. In summary with letting the Europeans know more you can see they can make useful weapons.
